We've been several times now. The snow is always excellent, well pisted, extensive lift system (not the most modern) and there are never queues, si no time is wasted hanging around. Not a "smart" resort but good for skiing and plenty of restaurants. La Rosiere...More

The ski resort of La Thuile is fantastic. A vast ski area with quiet pistes and lifts. Great friendly people. Town is quiet compared to the famous French resorts.

La Thuile is a small village, about 30 min by bus from Cormayeur. It is possible to reach La Tuile by public transport from Geneva (18-24 euros) but it takes time - you have to go to Cormayeur first and take a Megabus to Geneva...More

Small resort itself, decent skiing area linked with La Rosière in France (which is slightly better in my opinion). Stayed in the Plannibel apartments which were situated at the best location in the resort, at the foot of the pistes next to the main gondola....More
