Really enjoyed our stay here in La Thuile, shared a apartment with a mate in Hotel Planibel x residences. Great runs n plenty of em, you can ski over to La Rosière, France so experience 2 countries, will be coming back next year.
La Thuile is a small village, about 30 min by bus from Cormayeur. It is possible to reach La Tuile by public transport from Geneva (18-24 euros) but it takes time - you have to go to Cormayeur first and take a Megabus to Geneva...More

Yes one very long button and one half the length. Please make sure you can cope with them before attempting to go there. I went over in a blizzard and made it back. Two of the party had to ski a very long way round and very flat areas and were exhausted when they got back to La Thuile.
