Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went there for a tasting last Saturday. 20 minutes from Masterton, signposted from SH2, Very friendly welcome and excellent tasting. Quiet at moment but quite a small tasting room so might get busy in summer.
Great selection of wines and at reasonable prices. You'll see their wines in a lot of restaurants and bars around Masterton. Definitely would recommend.

We have been to many Wairarapa wineries but never made it here - our loss until now.
Get the navigator to take you - you feel you are lost in the middle of nowhere.
We had a great tasting (free) with a knowledgable young German man (fitting).
The wines are first class so we had to buy a mixed case.
We'll have to come back another time.

In the pouring rain, my husband and I stopped along a main road in Masterton and asked where we could find a good winery. As others have mentioned, we were directed to this winery at the end of a long road. We were the only people there at the end of the day in bad weather, but the lady who ran the tasting room gave us all the time and attention as if we were royalty. She lovingly and beautifully described the wines we could choose from and poured us any we wanted to taste. The wine we ultimately chose, the Riesling, has been given raves by our family. Don't miss this special place.

This winery is at the end of a gravel road. It’s well worth a visit as the wines are top class. The setting is beautiful and quiet, totally in the country. If you have a campervan the nearby river is s beautiful self contained camping site. We received friendly service and generous tastings. Loved the wine.

Make sure you keep this Gladstone vineyard on your itinerary for a visit to the Wairarapa. It's a little bit out of the way down a metalled road, but well worth the detour.
Very nice tasting room and a friendly welcome for sure. Good range of wines and often some very sharp prices for the high quality.

This is a winery that would be very easy to miss as you would think you are lost and turn around. Don't!!!! Just keep following the road until you get to the end and the winery is there. The staff are so help and these would be some of the better wines we tried and bought. Well worth finding this one.
