nice easy walk ( easier if you go clockwise around the course ), good for most ages, not push chair friendly mind you, does narrow in number of places. Mostly in the shade, Wonderful look out point. Well worth a visit. Well used by locals.

So lucky to have this preserved so close to Carterton and the main road. Allow about an hour to do the circuit. Well marked track with a few board walks/steps. A place to return to again and again

A true treasure if you want step back in time to see what the Wairapapa bush was like before Europeans cleared it.

Very interesting 1-hour walk through dense native bush. Many trees have labels which makes it especially valuable for botanic-interested people. The massive many-hundred-years-old totaras and rimus are the highlights of the circle walk.
