Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an amazing beach with very welcoming and professional staff. The scenery and the whole place is beautiful and very clean. You can order food and drinks from the restaurant/bar (the greek salad and the quinoa salad is very tasty). We spent a whole day here just 2 days before were going to leave Santorini, and definitely want to go back.

Would highly recommend!

Love the location, food is great and atmosphere unbeatable. Best kept little secret in Santorini! A must to visit:)
The location is amazing, beach is deep blue and calm! The ancient volcanic rocks surround the beach and create a surreal escape from the tourist haven that Santorini is.

Me and my friends visited that beach during our last day at Santorini. We really enjoyed the time there. Very private, free wifi, modern, around 23 umbrellas and nobody is walking around and selling you anything (as on the other beaches in Kamari). 2 sunbeds and umbrella- 8 euros. And views of rocks are simply fantastic. Beach has bathrooms and outside showers.Would love to come back.

Me and my girlfriend visited the place, after being advised from locals about its beauty, but we will never visit the place again.
I asked kindly how much was the cost for the umbrellas and even if more than half of them were empty, apparently they were all reserved. Minutes before we decide to leave, to foreign women take the initiative and occupy an umbrella for two without asking the staff. One of the staff approaches them and takes them 20 euros each when that cost was for the 1st row umbrellas and not for the last that had occupied. Not professional. I ask the guy who was working there why they let them sit when apparently all of them were reserved as he stated before, and he didn't have anything to say. Complete unprofessional!!!!
I told him we will never visit the place. Tourists please when you go there read the signs about the costs because they stole them without knowing. They want tourists to occupy the umbrellas so they take advantage of their naivity.
After all they were liars complete unprofessional and we are never going there again.

Very rude and unfriendly staff. The beach is ok but nothing special. Many much better choices nearby like Perivolos, Vlychada etc.

You'll need a car, atw or scooter to get here, but once you're here you'll love it! We tried a lot of different beaches during our stay, and this was definitely our favourite. They only have one beach bar, and no other shops, but you'll find everything you'll need here. Prices are ok, and both food and drinks are very good! Sunbeds are priced at 8€ for two beds and one umbrella, or you can get just a sunbed for 2€. The beach is a black stone beach, but the rocks are so small and round so you won't need swimming shoes here like you do in most other Santorini beaches. Much less waves here than in other beaches around the island.

Next to all the bars, restaurants and shops on the Kamari seafront this is a black sand beach. The beach was very clean and was being worked on as this was near the start of the season.. There are lots of sunbeds and parasols, most belong to the adjacent bar/restaurant. They are free to use if you are purchasing a drink or snack. The beach to the north has less amenities and is close to the airport so there is some noise. There is also a naturist section in this part.

I have been in most of the Santorini beaches and this is probably the best one: plenty of space, free beds and umbrellas, a clean beach and crystal waters, and most than all a beautiful bar/restaurant with an exotic style. And if you wish there is also a place for massages. Stay away from other crowded beaches, this is the top.

We were two years ago on this beach. It was the jewel of Santorini. Beautiful beach with beautiful sunbeds, stylish bar and wonderful atmosphere. Two years ago! This year? Dirt, broken umbrellas, (all for free). Taverna is a parody of the restaurant. Filth, grime, dirt everywhere. It is a great pity to have to destroy such a beautiful beach!

We were on Eros beach bar our last day in Santorini. We had got the tip from a German girl working for the diving center in Kamari. The beach bar was really nice with good cocktails. The beach was with small stones. Only 50 beds and very good service. Mainly couples, but also some with small children. Would highly recommend going there. You would need a car.
