A nice rainy day thing to do in the Daytona area. You can get a great view of the ocean and the Halifax river at Ponce inlet. Check it out just beautiful. The Marine Science Center is here also so many nice shops.

This is the second year that we have gone to the lighthouse. If you are 62 or above, you can get a year pass for $10 plus ten percent off gift shop. As others have mentioned, there are various buildings to tour besides the lighthouse. Within a month, we were there maybe three times. One time they had a small... More

The view from the top of the lighthouse is phanominal. But the 8 different museum attractions are alone worth the $6.95 admission price. The museum with all the lenses with interactive displays on how they work and are designed was interesting and informative. We spent well over an hour at this lighthouse and museum. It is far more than just... More

very nice ride to the inlet. the lighthouse and buildings have been restored and there's a lot of information available about it and it's keepers. you can climb the 204 stairs to the top... i did not since i have bad knees but a lot of people do. the grounds are kept up nicely and the admission is only $6.95... The grounds and buildings at this place are well-maintained. Friendly and helpful employees in the gift shop where tickets are purchased to enter the grounds. Though we have been here a few times over the years, it is the first time we have taken our time to see everything on the grounds and climb to the top of the lighthouse.... More

This is a beautiful lighthouse with 203 steps to the top to reveal great views everywhere you look. There is a lovely store which you go in to pay admission and get access to the grounds. The hike up to the top of the lighthouse was a bit of a workout but it was well worth the effort. It's only... More

This lighthouse museum was a great stop for our family of five. The history of the buildings was very interesting for the adults and the lighthouse views were gorgeous once at the top. Anyone with claustrophobia may want to wait at the bottom; It gets very hot in the winding stairwell and the walls do seem to be closing in...... More

Well worth the stair climb. Awesome views. This made my second trip to Daytona in 4 months. And 2nd time to the lighthouse. You pay 6.95 to in it.

This lighthouse climb has steps that are wide. There is a right hand railing but none on the left hand side. The stairs get narrow and steep at the very end when you climb to the section near the viewing area. What sets this one apart is that as you are climbing there are sections- every couple of flights later-... More
