This is definitely a historical place to visit. Everything is so educational and gives you a real feel for life in Florida many years ago. There are several buildings to explore. One that intrigued me was the building housing the largest collection of Fresnel lenses to magnify the lights on the lighthouse. However, my best part is the walk, round... More

Not only the lighthouse, but the workers houses, maintenance buildings and even sheds are well preserved. They have a little bit of history from the 1840's showing picture of the female doctor who was not allowed to practice as a physician, being female, but went on to teach one of the earliest interracial schools in the US. The offer artifacts... More

This is a fun place to visit. There is some history that I learned and found interesting. The stairs are fun to climb to the top, but it is quite a hike if you are not in shape, which I am not. I am glad that I made the climb because the view at the top is wonderful. It's a... More

I always make sure whenever I vacation at Daytona Beach that it includes at least ONE VISIT TO Lighthouse Park. It is a peaceful, tranquil spot and there is so much to do or so little to do, Lol. Things for the children to play on, quiet spots to have some lunch at a picnic table, the LIGHTHOUSE ITSELF which... More

We were staying in Ormond Beach and decided to drive to the end of the road in Ponce Inlet. When we got to the end, we found the Lighthouse Point Park. We drove all the way to the end of the Park road and found places to explore. My husband took many beautiful pictures. We enjoyed just walking around the... More

This park offers some great climbing equipment for kids of all ages. There are seats for parents as well as shade for those super hot days. It is a great free addition to the lighthouse tour if you have the time to stop and do that. There were restrooms though we did not use them. We parked in the lighthouse... More

Great place to view wildlife. Our dog loves going to this park. You can spend a couple of hours here and get to view alot of water activities.

This is an amazing place with the wooden walk ways, places for picnics and the point where you can get a photo of the sunset and moon at the same time. Worth the visit if you are in Ponce Inlet.

Clean, shaded park with benches for adults and fun playground for small children- plus lots of trees to climb! We ate our picnic lunch here between visiting the Lighthouse & Marine Science Center- which are all within walking distance. There is also a decent restaurant & ice cream place so you can get food to enjoy at the park if... More
