We took a small boat to visit Ba Be lake around two hours, on the way we visited a small temple and local market. It is large and nice lake, everything seems pure there. Local people are friendly to introduce history of this lake.

The lake is peaceful with nice sceneries of country side and limestone mountains. The boat trip around the lake and to Puong cave is a must.

We visited Ba Be lake as part of Coungs Motorbile Tours.... arrived by boat as did the motorbikes! Beaut area, almost nmatched the beauty of some parts of New Zealand,. If I wasn't a spoilt New Zealander it probably would score excellent!
