Share with us the story of the only malt distillery pioneered by a woman. The malt whisky produced here has a warmth and cleanliness of taste which experts describe as "silky" and is used in some of the award winning Johnnie Walker blends.

Cardhu Distillery is located in a lovely setting, the staff are very friendly. Our tour guide Kay was very knowledgable, and it was interesting to see the processes involved in whisky production. It is a nice way to spend an hour or two.
Had a great visit here today, lovely young lady opened up for us extremely friendly and very knowledgeable No Hard sell!! Well stocked shop and even pet friendly coos! Would recommend and we will be back! :)

I would contact them online and book whatever taste you wish. They also allowed unlimited tastes at a small price per taste. Their distillery only bottling of the Cardhu limited edition is a fantastic bottle of Scotch to pick up if there is still some available, only 1800 bottles produced. Take a train from Edinburgh to either Inverness or Elgin and contact Guvnor's tours. Garey Stewart knows all of the distilleries and will treat you excellent.
