Looking in the gift shop window and after striking up a conversation with another couple we were told about the location of the Welsh Royal Crystal. It was great to be able to experience the workmanship of the crystal being skilfully engraved etc. Was really...More

The craftsman was on his holidays again so it was just a very dull shop with lots of glass (much of it with a Welsh theme) and a few tourist trinkets.

Visited this little gem of a workshop/shop last week. Little difficult to find as it is tucked away in the corner of a small industrial estate just outside the town. Glad we did find it though. When we arrived we were made most welcome by...More

OK so no admission charge but when we got there we were told the craftsmen was on holiday so could only view the stock in the shop. Not much on view. Most likely better if there is work going on.

My family and I visit this factory outlet routinely, about every 3 months when we travel around mid Wales. The staff, who have worked here for many years since it occupied the neighbouring larger building, are always very friendly and the crystal ware, which we...More

This place is a tiny shop, with a tiny cafe. When I visited on Bank Holiday Sunday, there was no one working in the cafe, or the shop. My expectations were that it would be something like the Dartington Crystal place near Totnes, where you...More

Very disappointed. On arriving was told the craftsman wasn't in today and that the tea shop wasn't working either! We could only look round the shop which had a very poor, dusty display of crystal which we thought overpriced. This is simply a small workshop...More
