This place was absolutely breathtaking. View that completely blew my mind, considering this was only a 2 hour drive from my home town, it felt like I was in the middle of somewhere in New Zealand. The dams were really interesting to learn about and we visited each of them.

Great family day out. Plenty of places for amazing picnics and walks. Stunning drive, fabulous scenery. Incredible damns, great visitors centre with incredibly helpful staff. Loos really clean. Best of all - it was a free family, fun day out.

A days visit to Elan Valley is well worth a visit. Some fantastic hilly walks. Stunning views and all of the damns can be driven to. The day we visited (Friday) the roads were so quiet, it was bliss!

Fabulous day out .. amazing scenery and a fantastic drive. We visited all the dams and we're lucky enough to have been given a map to drive the most scenic route by the Landlord of the B&B we stayed in

We started at the far end (not at dam end) the walk was quite hard going to start with through the woods, very muddy and slippery. Beautiful walk though, took us almost 3 hours... Would do it again.
