One of Hertfordshire's old and largest churches. Runs regular concerts at weekends and also during the week at certain times of the year. Good view over the town centre when the tower is open. Regular coffee mornings on Saturdays in Church House.

We always enjoy our visits to this lovely Church, conveniently located in the centre of this attractive market town (which was featured in a recent highly acclaimed TV series). It is not to be missed if you are in the area..

Looked great tonight on the way back from the restaurant, lit up next to the water. A really pleasant feature of Hitchin.

St Mary's is a very pretty church, indeed I got married there some years ago. Not being much of a one for religion, I still admire the building and love spending time on the grass out back, watching the ducks and waterfowl enjoy the river....More
