Despite all the notices people are still walking their dogs off the lead. More often than not the dogs that are on a lead are intimidated and often attacked by these 'free running' animals. You get the usual excuses 'normally he is so well behaved', 'my dog wont bite you', 'he's never done that before'. We have yet to receive... More

Been here before, always a good day out, better on the weekends when battle events are on though, nice walk through the woods too leading to canal ward where there's a nice cafe. Putting my boy in the stocks was fun. Well worth a visit, with the battlefield Church just down the road.

We took our 12 year old Branson here, and both he and us thoroughly enjoyed the visit. It is beautifully set out, informative and has plenty of interactive things to keep children interested. Also enjoyed the walk outside, which I should imagine is even better in summer. The cafe is excellent in a barn. Good choice of drinks and food.... More

We visited on a very wet and cold January weekend but really enjoyed the circular walk and Heritage Centre visit. There is plenty in the Hertitage centre for kids to enjoy with interactive armoury & weaponry displays etc. The walk in cold and wet was a bit of a challenge but would imagine in another season that it would be... Love this place for a long walk and picnic. Great in summer and autumn half term. Cafe is good for hot chocolate and jacket potatoes. The gift shop is the best in Leicestershire. Even the toilets are great. It is also only £3 to park so can be a relatively cheap day out.

We incorporated this centre as part of a circular walk from Bosworth Hall Hotel. (8 Miles). This would clearly of been a absolutely amazing day when the sun shone and the activities were in full flow at this centre. As it was it was a particularly cold day, but we were still able to admire the exhibition relating to the... More

Enjoyed our visit, the centre is very good and informative and enlightens visitors to the fact that Henry Tudor stole the throne from Richard the 111 and not to listen to Shakespearian Tudor Spin on the matter [ok politics over lol]. Café is nice and all facilities in good order. The battlefield walk is on prepared walkways but if wet... More

4 of us visited this new heritage centre in early February and we were very glad we did, it is excellent and realistically priced. Fortunately we chose a "quiet" day with few visitors and no school parties so had the exhibition and visuals to ourselves and this allowed us to do everything on offer at our own pace - including... It was an easy 1 hour walk along Sutton Lane from Market Bosworth. Very interesting visitor centre, where we learnt a lot about Richard and Henry's history and battle. Amazing views of the battle fields, and good food in the cafe.

Thanx to Angie (cook) and the team for yet another perfect breakfast snack after a gentle walk from the Sutton Cheney canal wharf thru Ambion woods - sausage and bacon on doorstop granary bread for my husband, poached eggs on toast for me. A real pleasure to eat such good food in delightful surroundings.
