Or simply arrive the island by yourself, then take the shuttle bus (CNY5-10/trip) which can take you to all the scenic places. Stay a night... More

Bus also leaves from Napu bridge station. bus takes you to bus station on Zhoushan where you get a second bus for a 10 min ride to the zhujiajian port then a 24 min ferry ride to the island. Putuoshan was a nice day out with the family. A bit of hiking & sightseeing, as well as some swimming in the ocean. Bring your own food, and you can easily spend the entire day in the area. The swimming areas have lifeguards, as well as boats monitoring swimmers. One can rent floaties as well. One thing to keep in... More

The name that Trip Advisor provides this tourist attraction is a bit deceiving. Putuoshanzhen is one of the islands near Zhoushan. On the island there are a wide variety of things to do. You can catch a ferry to the island from Zhujiajianzhen. There isn't a bridge out to it. While my friends and I were there, we went to... More

on the island we visited 3 places: Puji Temple, Nanhai Guanyin Statue and the Buddhist Temple in the Purple Bamboo Forest and had lunch at Xilei Xiaozhuang Hotel. The Puji Temple was an amazing place with 9 magnificent Halls, 12 Pavilions, an 18m Multi-treasure Pagoda, covering an area of 14,000 sq m and fronted by the large Haijin Pool with... More
