Visited on Friday 27th April on our way to Lake Tekapo. What an interesting collection of memorabilia they have, you could spend hours wondering around looking at it. It was a pity we couldn't spend more time there on the day.

Julie’s paintings are beautiful, not to be missed! A lovely gallery well worth a visit. We were staying at Julie’s motel which is lovely, the added bonus is the gallery and for me the chance to acquire a beautiful piece of art.

This is a quirky gift shop close to the top of Burkes Pass that's worth a stop if you'd like a coffee. There's old cars and has an American feel with old fashioned buildings. The coffee was good and it was a fun stop for...More

What a discovery. Seemingly out in the middle of nowhere, a shop with antiques, collectibles and curios. It was a treasure trove. Plus they have coffee on site. We spent a good hour perusing the exhibits, from radios, to cameras, ornaments, jewellery, to tin plates,...More

A great place to stop on route to/from Lake Tekapo. About half-way between the lake and Fairlie. Coffee caravan + shop and retro collectibles mainly themed around cars and 'garagenalia'. They also sell chunky garden furniture. I'm a sign and packaging collector so I was...More

Worth stopping and exploring the businesses and historical references on both sides of the road. Retro, antique and replica items for sale, a coffee caravan, alpacas in the field. Would be a great place to buy man-cave accessories!

As we drove towards Lake Tekapo we needed a coffee stop. When this place appeared we were surprised and delighted. It reminded us of the architectural salvage yards we used to visit when renovating an eighteenth century cottage in the UK. I suspect that some...More
