What travellers are saying
- LorraineB16 contributionsThis is museum is one of the best we have been to. Thought it was just the one building but no, it was about eight. The tidiest well laid out museum of all sorts of farm equipment, old cars and more. You will be amazed. This is a must see.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GDR17Timaru, New Zealand316 contributionsdaffidols for miles , lovely hosts very helpful and 1500 daffidols all boxed up ready to go. stroll thru the paddocks of daffys and then onto the shed shop to view and buy/orderWritten 11 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Damian PEast London12 contributionsEmily Falls, nice 2 hour round trip that includes a dip in the hole under mid sized waterfall. Is steep in places
Wear proper boots and definitely take snacks for younger kids and water for all. Not suitable for under 8's unless sure-footed and confident. We did it on a rainy day, would be great on a warm day. Great fun for all family.Written 6 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lovely tracks, and great during the day as well. Seeing the tiny, endangered bats flitting above the trees at dusk was a fantastic experience.Written 5 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Escape74543811 contributionsThe four alpacas are adorable and friendly. We saw paradise chickens and walked in a beautiful environment!! When we reached the river it looked like heaven on earth. Bring a camera of some sort and insect repellent before you go. The sandflies will love you when you've dipped your feet in the river.
I'm not sure If I have met nicer people. The couple who owns the place are angels! I RECOMMEND going there with family, friends or possibly alone if you want.Written 28 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Safari6088047 contributionsThis museum is located a few minutes' drive from the Geraldine CBD. It is located on a private property, and is the efforts of the property's owner, with help from some friends and relatives. The collection is clearly the result of the owner's love of all things mechanical. There are some lovely automobiles on show, both modern and vintage, some military vehicles and other weapons, some motorcycles, bicycles, a few tractors etc., plus various display cases covering some family military medals, model cars, military equipment such as jerry cans, shells and bombs etc. The owner was very hospitable. This museum deserves a visit from you if you are interested in any of the above subjects.Written 8 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ezra710Christchurch, New Zealand1,394 contributionsA relaxing look around a spacious and well laid out shop with lots of interesting goods. As expected, largely for the tourist market and priced accordingly, but with a couple of good bargains included. Clean toilets and a care in the same building.Written 10 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- fionag433Christchurch, New Zealand25 contributionsToday we found a unique gallery exhibiting a range of exceptional works from all around nz . We were intrigued how Rachael had captured sound vibrations with gilding into her work . She also has an interactive exhibit you can try showing the patterns of sound when you strike her gong

As it was approaching Christmas, there were decorations placed in various areas focussing on the birth of Jesus. There were free bibles in the lobby area for people to take if they so desired, which we thought was really good. Overall, a wonderful building with a wonderful message to locals and visitors alike.Written 15 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
