We spotted the world's biggest jersey in a guidebook and had to break up our journey with this spot. The jersey is big but the real treat is the tapestry (also a record breaker). Made from bits of old weaving machines - the question "why"...More

We were told about this mosaic but we were astonished at the accomplishment of this man who has recreated the complete Bayeux Tapestry in metal mosaic format! A work that has taken him 35 years. A work of beauty and evidence of hispatience and skill.

You must not miss this I understand it is closing and they are off to England to exhibit So see it soon The whole experience is fascinating and all for 2 dollars There is much more to see than just the 1066 bit

This is a magnificent and huge mosaic in spring steel produced by Michael and Raechel Linton from 1979 until 2004 and ably assisted by their family. It is to go on show later this year in Hastings, UK.

I saw it in 2006 while touring NZ. Amazingly English Heritage showed no interest when I called in to Battle Abbey in 2007 and again this year 2015.More
