Nothing very interesting. I tried because I have not tried an 8 wheel drive before. the ride up the terrain is bumpy. no toilet facilities when you are up the mountain. can try it at least once if you have not done so

We went on this tour expecting a fun ride through the grass and see a few interesting things. It was actually a ride through a Martian landscape (shakes you too bits) whilst you are told loads of interesting facts about the countryside and its formation. Les our driver was very friendly and knew a lot about the area (and other... More

All the members of our multigenerational family group - eldest 77 and youngest 16, loved this tour. Our Nepalese guide/driver was a very experienced climber in his own right and had lots of stories and local knowledge which we appreciated. He was very solicitous of my 77 year old Dad during the quick but quite steep climb to view the... More

We took the Argo trip up to the glacier. Our guide was fun and had lots of interesting information. The trip was well worth the money, a great view of the glacier and lake. Thoroughly recommend this trip if you are at Mt Cook. Must book though- very popular.

Absolute fun! And you see the nice scenery and at the end the glacier(lake). There is also time to make some pictures. But prepare for a bumpy ride and dust ;)

Tour guide has thorough knowledge of the location and very descriptive. The activity experience is out of this world its like touring another planet. The path of the tour is very rugged but the 8 wheel buggy is the proper match. Its exceptional value for the experience.

My wife and I, in our seventies, took this trip and loved it. A great ride up the rocky trail for a great bumpy ride to a steep path which I walked with the other 3 visitors to the top of cliff to view the lake and the glacier. What a view and what a perspective. This trip provided us... More

Grahm, the tour guide cum driver was friendly, enthusiastic and very informative! The ride was bumpy but that added to the adventure and the view of the glacier at the end of it was extremely breathtaking.

We booked an Agro trip with Graham after we had been on the Glacier Lake tour that morning. Graham was extremely knowledgable about the area, I don't think there was a question he couldn't answer! Looking down at the Glacier from the top was amazing. We were able to hear the Glacier cracking! The Agro trip was so much fun.... More
