Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time visiting fuerteventura (Caletta de Fuste) and it was excellent. The local people couldnt do enough for you and the food and drinks are very well priced and of very high quality compared to the UK. We will be going back again for definite. Weather is perfect all year and a gentle breeze. Absolutely spotless, the spanish take pride in their surroundings and beautiful places to visit such as the wildlife center which is amazing.

This beach is nice and big and you can hire sun loungers if you want to. Plenty of space there if you don't want to. The Barcelo Mini Golf is nearby and is really good value. The beaches just a short walk around the coast are nicer though.

One of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Clean beach, nice sand and close to amenities like kiosk store and toilets. It’s a walking distance from our hotel and there are plenty of restaurant around the area.

Visited twice during our stay. €10.50 for 2 sunbeds and parasol. Plenty of room for all. Beach shelves gently so good for families. Bar serving hot and cold drinks, also toilets, baby changing and shower. Looked like they were about to open two new toilet blocks. Nice promenade to walk along with a few bars for pit stop.

Nice beach that my husband and I visited during our recent holiday. As I was not fully mobile with a broken ankle, I had to rely on a scooter to get me around and this beach had decking to accessible sunbeds. Clear water, white sand and plenty of restaurants and bars

One of the worse beaches on Fuerteventura but only because that island has plenty of stunning ones. Lots of not nice pebbles and hard rock pieces. Better to walk a bit further to much better one.

Lovely beach and a nice place to be. Protected bay ideal for swimming. Spotless toilets (free) and showers. Recycling points everywhere and beaches were clean and rubbish free at all times. Lifeguards present, nice promenade for walking, running and wheel chair accessible.

Lovely clean beach with a wide promenade ideal for a walk. We took our nightly stroll on the prom after dinner. It's well lit and a popular spot for an evening constitutional. During the day there is little shade.

Caleta de Fuste must have started out really lovely the crescent beach, hotels on the front, solarium, sports facilities harbour side cafes, outstanding promenade etc etc. Then behind in the town you get a plethora of poor restaurants and bars and complexes, obviously catering for the British who seem to want to bring Britain with them, Ironically the food isn't particularly inexpensive either for the poor quality. We went to Nestors and was served a really good steak (one the best I have had outside the USA) with 'packet rice' chunky chips and cauliflower cheese and this was supposed to be a Caribbean style restaurant!! Why oh Why can't the British just go on holiday and enjoy food and ambience that is local rather than always want to 'bring the pub with them' Morro Jablo further down the coast is much better, mainly other Europeans who have some sense of propriety and behave accordingly.

Are there any sunbeds on the beach and if so, how much do they cost per day?
Thank you!
Written 9 February 2023
Hi,
There were loads of sunbeds on the beach near the waterfront - I didn't use them but never saw anywhere to pay or anyone charging for them. It was Xmas though so might be different in the summer ??

Alguien me puede decir si tiene piedras en el interior del agua?
Written 15 April 2019
Si, por supuesto, pero el agua es muy limpio y la vista al fondo del mar bueno. Esta playa me ha gustado mucho.

Is caleta de fuste busy in january as a large group of us are coming
What is the weather like
Written 10 September 2018
We were there in March. Was a pleasant 14degrees at night, daytimes got up to 23 but there were one or two damp days. Not all the bars will be open as it is still classed as low season. Having said that, the bars that are open cater for expats and are good value. Have a great time, make what experiences work for you and have fun.

Is there any other nice beaches close to Caleta de Fuste that are relatively close/easy to get to?
Written 31 July 2018
About a 10 minute walk south from the main beach in calete de fuste towards the atlantico shopping mall & the Sheraton hotel is a beach with several manmade coves which are perfect for swimming, pedaloes and fishing because they are sheltered from the wind and safe as you can't reach the open sea without climbing over a rock wall. Crystal clear water and less people around.
