We went as a party of 4. We were picked up at our hotel on time in a mini van which was clean and well presented. At the wharf we were given a safety presentation and required to put all your belongings in a box which was secured before departure. You are not allowed to take cameras with you but it just so happens they take a photo of you before you go and the whole experience is recorded, These are available for purchase at the end of your ride. You are warned you may get wet. You can bet on getting soaked. Wear swimwear if you have some and take a towel. There are a number of rides available. We chose to depart from main beach on ride 1 (yellow ride) and were picked up from surfers paradise hotel. Not very long before you’re out of the restricted speed area and spinning and turning. If you wear your sunglasses or a hat hang on to them or they’ll end up in the drink. I found after the first spin my sunglasses were wet inside and out and when they dried the salt made it difficult to see through. We had confidence in our driver but after an hour we were ready to get off. The ride can be rough depending on the wind direction and chop. If you have back issues make sure it’s a calm day. The waterways are occupied by other watercraft some of which throw off a pretty big wash. We had a couple of hard landings when riding over some of these washes. If your looking for some adrenaline filled fun this is it. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend 55min jet boat session, so much fun and lots of turns and speed! U will get wet! Our driver absolutely fanged it, me and hubby loved it. Also we combined with quick 5 min helicopter, lots of fun. Great day out. 1st time in a jet boat, loved it! Sunnies will get salty!!

First real family holiday and it started with a BANG! Thanks to Macca (our boat driver) and the team at Paradise Jet Boating for a great experience. I booked an afternoon ride this morning at late notice, even though it was less than 24hrs away. Didn’t realise that I had to still call to confirm the time and after a late phone call they still managed to fit us in. Macca, Legendary, we will never forget it. Do yourself a favour and step onboard!!

Our driver Mac was terrific. Great new adventure for three grandchildren. They even loved getting wet. Terrific speed, turns and spins. Even liked the commentary on the Seaway and exclusive houses. Very economical hour spent on the water.

Here from Sydney for a family holiday and wanted my 9 year old to experience a jet boat ride. My husband and I had been on them in NZ. My son loved it. Braydon communicated well and made sure we were all ok throughout the ride. He was funny, enthusiastic and a bit cheeky! He did more 360 degree turns than expected which was great. The water was choppy but Braydon’s driving skills were awesome.
The lady that greeted us was friendly and professional too. Thank you for a thrilling 30 minutes!

The staff named Kelly was the rudest and most racist person I have dealt with on the Gold Coast. My jet boating experience was completely ruined before it even started. We drove 2 hrs to do jet boating and were greeted with abuse and racist remarks by this particular staff. I will never go back or recommend paradise jet boating to anyone. She did not want to give a 10% discount which was promised over the phone and refused the voucher/coupon. She then began to raise her voice in front of others. I was so embarrassed and insulted. The other staff were trying to be helpful while Kelly was just evil!

This was the second time jet boating with this company and they most certainly didn't disappoint. We sat in the back of the boat and had the best experience, getting drenched along the way with each spin of the boat. We took in the amazing scenery along the course which navigated it's way to the Sovereign Islands, about 20 kms away from Surfers Paradise. The driver and check in staff were very professional and friendly. Definitely recommend doing the jet boating experience when in the Gold Coast, suitable for children too.

Hi Pamela. As we discussed with you on the day...and numerous times since, the shuttle ceased operating when Covid began. We no longer have the staff or resources to provide this service and haven't for almost 2 years.
All agents and ticket resellers have updated their information regarding this in 2020.
Also, our website was updated and DOES NOT offer or make any mention of any transfers.
You booked on our website...and you did not see anything there about a transfer.
However, you found a brochure at your hotel that is over 3 years old (printed June 2018) and that mentioned transfers: if requested and "subject to availability".
You didn't mention any desire for a transfer before your ride.. and only raised the matter your ride. We advised you this is a service that no longer operates...but you just wouldn't let it go :(
Anyway. you told me you really enjoyed the Jet Boat ride...which I am happy about.
Why don't you give a review on that instead of criticising us for not running around collection old brochures??

What a fantastic experience we had
The boat driver was a champion! Funny and full of knowledge about the local area but most importantly an unbelievable driver!
Don’t sit on the back corner seats or you will be absolutely soaked!

Unlike the roller coaster riders, jet boat is user friendly. You don’t feel nausea or bad headache. You will enjoy the water splashing on your body. They also provide a wet suit to protect your garments. I am sure you will enjoy this ride. Go out and enjoy the ride and you wouldn’t repent taking this ride.

i presume i am going to get drenched during the ride. Is there any locker which i can deposit my stuff and change my waking shoes to sandals/slipper?

Hi Meei Suey...and to others who have given their answers to your questions. All of these answers are very correct;
You wont really get drenched...and we do have large waterproof ponchos that you can use if worried.
We do have very secure storage for personal belongings.
Best to wear light shoes, sandals or flip flops.

Hi Sarojvicky, no problem being 66 years ‘young’. We have many senior pax. The oldest that we are aware of is 82, who came only a few months ago.
Also, HBP shouldn’t be an issue, so long as it is under control
However, our trips are very exciting and our pax do get a shot of adrenaline whilst onboard. So, maybe best to ask your GP for their opinion.
We’ve been operating for over 10 years…with zero passenger injuries or health scares.
