I had been a local for some time but didn't know about this place until the hubby got me onto it. Great walking trails, nothing too intense. On a nice day it is just beautiful to have a stroll. We saw plenty of kangaroos too...More

I walked the initial loop track which was flat and easy walking past a range of vegetation/rocky outcrops /orchids/kangaroos and birdlife. The bushwalk can be extended by using more tracks and another entrance. Pity I could not take the dog as it is a conservation...More

Found it a very good viewing place for Sun and Cockatoo Orchids. Nice thing is that you don't have to leave the paths or damage the environment to see the orchids, as there are plenty to see along the paths. We visited in Mid October.

After finding a bird list for this park we decided that it looked like a good place for Barossa birding. There is no good parking, only a couple of spots just off the road, we felt we left the car pretty exposed at the gate,...More

We took our kids on the short walk, in hopes we would see some wildlife. Although we did see lots of birds, we didn't see any kangaroos, which was disappointing. Our daughter enjoyed learning the names of all the trees/plants, so that kept her busy....More

This is a really good walk if you have never seen kangaroos in the wild before. We took relatives from the uk and they were excited to see so many.

Two walks to choose from. The longer one takes you to the lookout. The smaller one takes you on a smaller walk through bushland. Lots of parrots and kangaroos. The day we went there were several kangaroos carrying joeys. Very quiet and peacful with waterways....More

While the Barossa Valley is now renowned for its vineyards and farms, it was once covered with native forest and the Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park is the last vestigial remain of the original dry eucalyptus forest. The park is well worth the visit, not just for...More

Really peaceful area with an abundance of birdlife, unusual trees and lots of kangaroos! Rolling hills, so walks are easy, and only 10 minutes drive from major tourist towns, but feels like a million miles away.

There's only so much cheese eating and wine tasting one can do! Take the one hour nature walk! Easy and lots of picture opportunities! Hidden park, away from it all! Definitely worth driving down too!
