Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small town but the market goes on and on. Lots of vendors for a big variety of items. Good mix of ready to eat with foods to take home for preparation. Not as many produce vendors as I expected but still a good number.
Most of the vendors take cash only.
Lots of parking south (I think) of the market.

I couldn't give this the right praise it deserves, it is a definate must do on a Monday. It is typically French. I love the hive of activity, the buzzing of French locals, mixed with tourists. So much for the eye to feast on. I have enjoyed buying the beautiful fresh produce, the colourful berries, blackcurrrants, redcurrants and whitecurrants, look stunning. The French have style and panache and everything looks awesome! I have learned so much French from shopping there, as i believe we should try. If you just want to watch, then there are some great coffee bars to choose from, and also under their beautiful trees near the roundabout are benches. Local supermarche are also there. It does get,and stays incredibly busy, which makes hard work for pushchairs and wheelchairs to get through, so go as early as possible. I just adore this little town. I think despite the many tourists coming through for the cycle hire and the ultimate challenge of Mount Ventoux, and the 'tour de France', it has, and will remain French and beautiful.

This market is the bees knees if you like markets. It is huge and has stalls selling everything local (and a lot from China!). The food on display is tempting and, as a previous reviewer has remarked, cheese can be very expensive. But the meat, fruit and veg are great and the fish stalls have really fresh stuff - we bought some sea bream to cook in our holiday abode. My wife bought yet more straw baskets (this time as presents for les filles) and I dutifully resisted the extremely minor temptation to buy another straw hat or a belt. It was very busy at 11.00 when we arrived and we had to park a bit out of centre, up a hill in a housing development.

What a wonderful surprise this marche provencal was. We had been to a different market in a different town each day but this one was the best in variety and quality.

This market is every Monday throughout the year and I would recommend it all year round. In summer it is quite a lot bigger and more crowded than in winter, but both times have their merits. In summer it can get difficult to find parking if you arrive too late, so try to get there at the latest at 10 a.m. I would really recommend trying the paella or rotisserie chicken when you visit here as they are truly delicious!
I would definitely recommend this market if you are looking to find some souvenirs, authentic provencal food or just want to experience a french market.

One of the larger village markets with much more than produce.
Need to spend 2 hours or so if you plan to visit in July/August.
Would compare to Isle sur Sorgue
Suggested to Make a reservation at a restaurant for lunch

Monday morning, begins to wind down about noon.
Well, they have everything! Excellent vegetables and fruit, AMAZING cheese. Also great handicrafts, we bought a couple of small olive wood chopping boards.
So... don't necessarily buy the first thing you see, there might be better/cheaper further up the market.
Also take care with amounts, one can get carried away and buy big chunks of cheese that can work out as being a little expensive, just buy what you need.

A very big and busy market. Our favourite in the area. Plenty of parking not too far from the market. Paella is good! Many of the stalls are the same as at the other markets in the area but we prefer the layout to,for example, Apt.

A Provencal market which has been ongoing for hundreds of years. Great selection of all sorts - bike through on your way to Mont Ventoux, but at least get off and walk.

We were originally going through this village on our way to Mont Ventoux, but had to stop and take advantage of the market and the many bike stores in this village.
Large amount of vendors, convenient one street line up under the tree canopy.
