We dropped in, me with Coeliac's disease (medically requiring a STRICT gluten free diet), and were served with confidence in my options and a beautiful wine. I got the pork bacon souvlaki, without the sauce, and it was AMAZING. So delicious and surprisingly cheap- happy to tip extra. We are definitely coming back, no question of that.

Given the turtle protection reserve covers more of the Kalamaki than the Laganas beach it's is worrying to see so much that concern me. The beach itself is good stretch with predominantly course white sand backed by dunes on whole. The mid beach is seasonally for use the local turtle population when laying their eggs. With only the strip adjoining... More

Excellent and very clean the beach beds are cleaned every day. Had the odd beach seller selling bracelets watches etc but they were not pushy at all.

Kalamaki beach is our most favourite beach on the island by far. Whether you want to go for a walk, relax, a swim or watch aeroplanes, this is the place to go

Beautiful, clean, unspoilt beach. Soft sand and crystal clear, shallow water, so you can go a long way out and still be standing. Planes do fly low overhead, but they are not frequent and don't spoil the ambiance.

This is my favorite beach ever. Even though it is very crowded, it is quiet and so beautiful. I go to Zakynthos for this beach almost every year. We stay in the nudist side because is less crowded. The water is shallow and the sand is soft and you can see the airplanes landing too.
