We stayed at the occidental playa just behind so it was easy to access the beach. Although it is a bit rocky there are sandy areas! We snorkelled here for hours, so many little fish and such clear water. Would definitely recommend!

We couldn't get onto the 'beach'. It was too dangerous to rock climb. It may have been a playa but it isn't any more

The bay at Playa El Ancla was right outside our hotel. The beach, accessed via a tunnel or a scramble over a steep slope from the road, was mainly rock with difficult access to the water.

Nothing to see here if you dont like rocks and abandoned furniture. Really not worth a visit. Much nicer paces a short taxi ride away

Nice volcanic/sandy beach within a man made water break that would apprear reasonably safe to swim in at low tide nearly all year round.

A nice place to visit and take in the views whilst enjoying the fresh sea air. You can go for a swim here but have to be careful of the rocks
