This is our second holiday to Fuertventura and one big attraction to us is Sota beach. Although a storm had altered the sand and had left some unwanted debris the beach was still great. What we like is the quiet laid back atmosphere and being...More

Excellent white sandy beach with a bar, parasols and sunbeds (chargeable). Sea is warm, clear and safe for swimming or paddling with little ones.

Loads of sand and water, no rocks but quite a lot of uncovered sausages from fellow beach users. Highly recommended, some good views available and the beach looks nice too.

What a fantastic place to visit. Crystal clear water and lagoons. Just simply paradise. You need an open mind though lots of naked people (probably outnumber clothes/topless)

Very pretty beach. Not easy to reach by the public bus. Its a nice walk from Costa Calma to Sotavento. Clear water, lagoons and an amazing view.

Lovely and clean beach made of fine yellow sand that creates natural pools with the incredibly blue water. Quite clean. No chiringuito on site

We loved this beach, we explored most of the island during our week's holiday. The water was lovely and clear and when we visited very calm as not much wind. Also loved the lagoon that filled up when we were there, looked ideal for children.

Excellent beach to practice kitesurfing of windsurfing in the winding season. Since wind is mostly offshore here, it is good to contact the René Egli shops and inquire about the rescue service.

Stunning views, beautiful very wide beach, especially when the tide is low. We go to Fuerteventura every year and visit that beach every time. A bit windy but the turquoise water and gorgeous views recompense the wind. Even better if you fancy some windsurfing

We saw many couples who were enjoying the freedom of being nude walking up and down the beach.

There are toilets at the wind surfing centres. I have never used them but I am sure no one will stop you using them.

There are no sun beds on Sotvento beach. There are lovely dunes where you can be comfortable without sun beds. We don’t use sun beds but on the beaches where they have them they are quite expensive from what I recall is... More

20 Celsius sounds inviting? To me it does. Avoid the windsurfers Hotspots. Enjoy!
