Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visiting Heidihof Village for the first time was a wonderful experience that brought back a flood of childhood memories. As someone who grew up watching the beloved Heidi cartoon in the 90s, being in this picturesque village felt like stepping into the scenes of that heartwarming story.

The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, with stunning alpine views all around. One of the highlights for me was the small local store that offers a variety of custom clothing and unique gift items—perfect for taking home a piece of the experience. Whether you’re here for the nostalgia or simply to enjoy the charm of Swiss countryside, Heidihof is a delightful place to visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of nature, history, and a touch of childhood magic!

A very beautiful village where, when you enter, you feel as if you have entered the story of Heidi. The houses are equipped with furniture and accessories from that era and bring that freshness and innocence that could be found in that era. Parking is free.

They have no accommodations for elderly visitors, especially with limited mobility. They are expected to walk up steep long hills. Most people visiting are older, so they need to keep this is mind. I would not recommend going for anyone with limited mobility.

On a morning after the rain, I went for a walk to Heidi's Hill, enjoying the still remaining autumn leaves. It was below zero in the morning, but the temperature gradually rose and I climbed up to dolf. I decided not to go to alpe because it looked like there might be snow.

My little one is a big Heidi fan and so she really enjoyed this trip. It was interesting for us adults too. Everything is very well maintained and well equipped/decorated. The children were also able to feed goats. But they didn't look particularly healthy. I think it would be better to limit this with automatic feeders or something similar rather than just fattening them up aimlessly.
Other than that it was very nice and interesting!

We drove by here and decided spontaneous to stop for a visit. Growing up with the cartoon it was a fun experience to see this Heididorf. Good effort in demonstrating the life of the times but it clearly was aimed at the smaller generation. We ended up doing the adventure trail up to the Heidialp and that was a lovely walk.

The walk to and from the Heidi experience was beautiful!. I had to carry all my luggage with me as the store at the station was closed. I met an elderly woman who really wanted to visit but could not because there was no transport to the village.

The setting and views are very pretty but it's all taken a bit seriously. The way the staff talked about Heidi and the rest of the characters you'd think they were real. It's basically a much more tasteful and natural version of a theme park.

Nostalgia deforms everything and everything can. This hamlet lost in the Swiss mountain, very close to Liechtenstein, from where the story of Heidi and her grandfather was inspired. The place, which is purely touristic, is accessed by car to the parking lot. You walk 15 minutes and access the village where tickets are taken and souvenirs are sold. There are usually few people. Everything is stopped at the time Heidi lived and is well accomplished. You can access different very small houses only once and inside it is set to the time and there are posters explaining life in those times. It is an activity of approximately 1 hour and very photogenic.
