Tucked away in a lowly quiet bend edging on to Bunclody town in Co. Wexford is Newtownbarry House and Gardens. Easily missed!.. but once found offers the visitor a very gratifying experience of 'a gardener's paradise' on a quaint scale. If you are visiting Co....More

These garden are situated in the village of Bunclody, Itself rather fascinating. We did not tour the house just had tea and scones the toured the gardens. Very colourful in June but the attraction needs a lot more visitors to pay for the upkeep, well...More

First attempt to visit & it was closed but second time lucky. Unassuming entrance, cosy shop & cafe but we took to the gardens straightaway & weren't disappointed. An unexpected layout lay ahead in the form of a sunken garden section. Interesting planting too. So...More

When you stop outside the entrance to this fine house you could be forgiven for getting into your car and driving away ! you enter into a sparse hallway that hides the hidden charm and beauty of this building and its gardens too well !...More
