Amazing scale and landscape designs throughout the park. Quite quiet as far as people go. Very friendly staff that struggled with English but we're willing to try.

It's not for me, but for my dad, and a friend of his. The two adds up to well over a hundred years old, and they do have their blissful morning strolling around this attraction. Definitely not a place for me, as I am neither a morning person nor someone who takes slow walks in a fancy little garden.

We spent an afternoon in the park in July 2014. It was very hot--over 40 C--and there weren't many people around. We didn't see any other tourists. A few people were fishing. But there are bikes and boats to rent, plenty of canteens for drinks, ice cream and snacks, and interesting trees and plants. Generally a very peaceful place with... More

A set of graphs and photos displayed by the lake tell that it was amazingly transformed from a large debris-dumping site and a coal-mine sinking area.... More

There is a lot of pride here and it's a beautiful place with things to do. Not a bad idea for a half day trip.

This is a major receration and ecologicalparkland in Tangshan. It is one of the largest artifical lakes in Asia, formed in part by flooded coalmines. It is well worth a visit if you like peaceful walks and plants. Many local people go there and are friendly to foreigners. It is too big to walk around, so exploring small parts on... More
