The museum lost a lot of artifacts during the war but it is still worth visiting. They have a nice collection of native art, dress and jewelry as well as historical pottery and metal works. The niche of the mosque alone is worth seeing.

This museum is beautiful, just lack of maintenance, if they only put in a little bit of effort it will be the most beautiful, they have many antiques there, from accent times. and old trains and poultry, just needs maintenance.

If you need to know about the Afghan history, must see this place. i was told that the current state of the museum is not as it used to be, however, whatever they have it takes you to the King's era in Kabul.
