- FrqIndianTravellerPune, India67 contributionsImportant temple. Must visitWe went to temple in the evening to avoid morning rush. It was still crowded but we didn't find any difficulty to get in. It was Sunday and we could get out in 30 mins. They offer free service to keep your digital devices and shoes. But you can leave the shoes in front of the gate also. The temple is 400 years old and serene. It's still crowded and some people may find it difficult to move around.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 December 2023
- Vijay KAhmedabad, India179 contributionsJay DwarkadhishThis temple is one of the important Shreenathji Temple in India. The vibes here are very positive. You can feel the positivity once you're in this temple. Temple has timing restriction so better check when the darshan is open and then visit. It has good amount of crowd even on regular days. Just be little careful of Panda's as they bother you a lot. Again, its a personal choice how much to interact with them. Jay Dwarkadhish!!Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2023
- Dr Pooja GargNew Delhi, India10 contributionsDivine experienceDwarkadhish temple is one of the four dhaams. It was a very divine experience. Temple was crowded. We need to leave our mobile phones outside the temple. Parking is around 400- 500 mts away from the main temple. You need to walk from there. There are lots of shops on the way to temple. Men and women have different queues. After the darshan we went down the stairs from the temple and there is gomati river there. We went in the evening there, Sunset was very beautiful.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 February 2024
- Sanjiv D44 contributionsAwesome DarshanThe place is of utmost importance for Hindu pilgrims. Temple is marvelous but stray cattles roaming around are eyesores . Pilgrims have to walk barefoot to have darshan & streets are full of cowdung. Shops around the site offer nice souvinirs & dresses for tourists. Gomti sangun area is full of local vendors who keep the area dirty. Good food is available for pilgrims in numerous restaurantsVisited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 February 2024
- shekharNew Delhi, India784 contributionsBlessingsDivine blessing, we were lucky to witness 56 Bhoog, being offered to Dwarkadish. You must were decent dress covering from top to bottom for darshan. Dwaj is changed 6 times a day out here. Great place and well maintained. You should avoid carrying mobile and other electronic goods to temple.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 April 2024
- Mansi GargAhmedabad, India7 contributionsSerene and blissfulThe dwarka temple is one the four dhaams in Hindu religion. It is a very sacred place to hindus. Key pointers: 1. The temple closes in afternoon from 1-5:30 pm. So plan your visit accordingly. 2. Nearby must see places: Bet dwarka, Rukmani ji temple, Dwarka beach and Naageshwara jyotirlinga. 3. The bridge to Bet dwarka is functional now. The car can go till the parking area, beyond which one needs to take an auto.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 30 April 2024
- Prema_CMumbai, India1,023 contributionsMust visit Vishnu templeWe visited here during the ongoing Ganesh festival. The crowds were much lesser than we expected as we have experienced lot of pilgrims in most of other big temples in India. The security q was longer than the temple q. There were no pandas following pilgrims for doing extra service. The q was fairly orderly and the security was quite courteous. We visited more than once every day and hope we got lot of blessings for all 🙏Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 September 2024

Divine experience at this temple.
One must visit this temple to feel the presence of God in this world. The entire staff of the temple is co-operative and courteous.
We had by grace of God, chance to attend two aartis, a ceremony in which lights are lit and offered to God. It was truly a very good feeling early in the morning 6.30am and later on at 10.45am.
The flag atop the temple shows the sun and moon, which is believed to indicate that Krishna would be there till Sun and Moon exist on Earth. The flag is changed up to five times a day, but the symbol remains the same. The temple has a five-story structure built on seventy-two pillars. The temple spire is 78.3 m high.

Had a divine experience at the temple. Got the 7.30pm aarathi darshan. Most important piece of advice. Do not carry any valuables like gold chains, wallet, mobile etc. Leave them at hotel. Carry only cash. Temple is small so you will not get lost. You have Gomti river on the side of the temple. Susana Sethu is also there. Both are walking distance from temple. Aarathi happens at 10.30am and 7.30pm. These are the most important ones. If you time your entry into the queue so that you are in front of the Lord by 7.30pm then you get to watch the Aarathi. It is for 15min.

We reached early morning at 6 am to attend Aarti . We got to stand in front of the main Krishna idol. The vibes of morning aarti were too deep.We wanted to spend some more time but as usual people don’t want to relax and stay in queues.
Our trip started from Rajkot where we landed from Delhi Already booked a taxi with Lala ji for the whole trip. Rajkot to Dwarka ( one night) then Somnath ji( one night and finally gir forest( one night. Then back to Rajkot for a flight back. 9265800108 is Lala Ji’s mobile number. His brother was with us throughout and took us around to all places of interest.

Very good place and beautiful also. No mobile and electronics items allowed. Only money bag is allowed. You should take atleast 1-2 hours time to visit the temple and its surrounding. Backside of the temple there is river which is must visit. From there you can buy home decor items at reasonable price.

Beautiful temple, the abode of Lord KRISHNA, preserver and saviour of the universe.
Beautiful Deity, you'll fall in love instantly.
The Darshan is not difficult, small queue.
No can keep getting Darshan if you stand near the Maa Devaki Temple or keep rejoining the queue after your Darshan.
I loved every second, I spent there.
Most certainly will come back for his love.

Magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. One has to walk some distance through congested roads and lanes to reach the temple. After keeping mobiles, shoes and bags etc in lockers, one can seek services of pandits available there for a small charge for explaining the temples and the deities inside the complex. The temple is always crowded and one has to brave the queues and the crowds to get a darshan of the lord.

Magnificent architecture, beautiful temple, you feel blessed to have the darshan but before entering the temple the area around it ,the bylanes all are very dirty and very disorganised. There are multiple queues right outside the temple before it merges into one to enter. Total chaos and confusion, not expected such mismanagement at one of the prominent dham...had expected more proper management. Too much push pull and unruly crowd.
