This castle is built on a rock. You can see it from afar. It is a medieval castle with an interesting history. You can drive up there and there is a car park and restaurant although I don’t think it was open? Perhaps in tourist time. The views are magnificent.

This is a very ancient castle, before the portuguese nationality, that was converted in a local history museum. This museu with an interesting architecture in iron.

The reason why I say fantasy-like was because when I visited, the castle's interior had a swing with yellows and white flowers on it's strings so it look very beautiful being on top of a swing inside a castle. When I visit again, I really hope that they still have the swing.

Amazing view!!! You will find there a very old castle (can learn more about Portuguese History), church, can walk around to take beautiful pictures, and take a meal in an excellent restaurant - Castelo Restaurant. Come and enjoy!!!!
