It is suggested that English speakers visit this museum before going on a tour of the Tito Bustillo Cave. Cave tours are given only in Spanish whereas both English and Spanish are used in the museum which contains many Stone Age artifacts as well geological displays and short film presentations about the history of the cave and its discovery. As other reviewers have said it is vital to turn up early so that you have time to visit the exhibition which is on the 1st floor in the building where you collect your ticket. We reserved tickets on-line and paid just over 7 euros each when we collected them. If you don't reserve tickets you may have a long... More

Thank goodness we visited this exhibition before we went on to visit the caves. The exhibition is well set out and well lit. It is in both English and Spanish and creates a very thought provoking experience. If you intend to visit the caves and only speak enough Spanish to order meals etc make sure you visit this first.

A really good exhibition (in English and Spanish) about the formation and discovery of the cave system and the amazing prehistoric cave art that has been found within. The rooftop cafe also has wonderful views from inside or on the terrace.

This exhibition centre essential to visit either before or after a guided visit to the Bustillo cave, as it shows not only the Palaeolithic art from the visit but also that found in other adjacent caverns, which are not available to the public. Creatively constructed, with videos and photos of the story of the discovery of the cave, explanations of... More

Excellent interpretation centre, and essential to visit here before taking the guided tour of the cave. No expense has been spared in putting this together and the end result is very good. Staff really helpful, and good restaurant too.

Well worth a visit as it is ned to the caves, but try to visit before the caves as it then falls into place in ones mind of the prehistoric people who did the rock art.

The Spanish Government has clearly put a lot of money and thought into building an excellent and informative museum and center. The signs are all in both English and Spanish and we loved the curation and stories from the discoveries of the cave.

An interesting introduction to the discovery of the Tito Bustillo cave and its art. However, all descriptions are in Spanish only and the other language guides (English, French, German and maybe others) are quite basic. The displays themselves are brightly lit oases in a series of very dark rooms; there are also recreations of some of the more notable pieces... More
