Good Place for a Picnic

Small picnic park adjacent to a local walking trail. Big shade trees, lots of room for the kids to run around. Tables provided. Entry is free.

Pulled in here looking for a place to each lunch after a morning of touring. The park is free, there are lots of picnic tables available and there is good shade from the pine trees. There is a hiking trail nearby. The park is reasonably well kept. There did not appear to be any playground equipment for kids, but there... More

In the far back there's a big area that is great for kids. I actually use to play soccer there with my girl. Shady... More

With areas large enough to play many sports and picnic tables galore it's an ideal family retreat. A two minute walk from scotian gold and... More

An ideal little spot for a picnic or lunch. Lots of friendly chipmunks etc. Shaded, well groomed and maintained ... CLEAN. Not open in the winter, but an ideal stop over in the summer.
