A very knowledgeable guide showed us around the facility and explained about the milking of the snakes for anti venom serum. They care for many reptiles including turtles and the snakes looked very healthy, but the cages were a bit small for some of them.

We enjoyed our visit to the centre a lot. The entrance fee included a tour with a guide(circa 45 min) who was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer all our questions. Wide selection of different snakes native to Kenya.
