Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The island is not inhabited. One reaches this island only by boat and, therefore, it is not very crowded. The view is wonderful, the water is appropriate for swimming, the beach is full of various shells. You may enjoy the sun or the shade of the trees. It is worth visiting, as part of a boat trip that will allow you to enjoy various spectacular views.

The last stop on my half-day island tour was this small dream island off Ko Yao Noi. Very beautiful little beach, but lots of jellyfish washed up. The path up to the viewpoint is very strenuous, in many places you have to pull yourself up with ropes. But it's worth it, sensational view from up there. I also liked that there weren't many people there.

Spend 6 nights on Koh Yao Noi, loved the island. Beaches very nice but not many beach beds available as most resorts were off the beach. Lovely for touring round on mopeds which are freely available. Food is amazing on this island definitely try Kaya. A must to do is Minas cooking class.

There seems to be some confusion in the other reviews this is the small island that is connected to Koh Yao Noi by a sandbar. We walked out there and watched the sunset the tide was almost full at that time but water was not more than 8” deep even at full high tide it would still be walkable about knee deep. It was nice to walk out there and watch the sunset over the bigger island.

We kayaked here from Pasai beach which took us around 40 mins - wasn’t too taxing and 360 breathtaking views on the way there. Surprised to find the islet as busy as it was when we arrived, but it was nevertheless a gorgeous little beach with stunning vertical cliffs and trees surrounding it. The waters were clear near the shore but gets a lot murky further out meaning it is not great for snorkelling. There is a viewing platform at the top of the cliff which I wouldn’t personally attempt with bare feet or flip flops (although many others did), which is very steep and essentially involves you using trees roots and rocks to clamber to the top - the trip down is probably more precarious than the trip up, but definitely worth it for the views!

Just as with our first stay on Kho Yao Noi, we loved the views over rocky islets, however this is not the best island when it comes to swimming. The waters are often muddy due to the winds and currents so it really is more about nature, views and easygoing vibes. Not as touristy as other Thai islands and locals are nice. It's a real treat to see the hornbills from the hotel room! Prices in local eateries are very reasonable and there's not much traffic on the roads so it's a really peaceful island. A couple of beaches on Kho Yao Yai are better than the beaches on this island, but you can't beat the views from here!

The island is very close to Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai. It makes for a perfect spot to watch the sunset and with a little luck you will have the island to yourselves like we did. It was magical to watch the sun go down and listen to the various forest sounds at dusk.
You can climb to the top of the island but wear proper shoes, not flip flops.

A neat little island hop nestled between Koh Yao Yai and Noi. I kayaked there and made a decent day trip and picnic of it. There's even a challenging rope line you can use to get to the peak of the islet for a BREATHTAKING 360 of the bay. Just be sure to scram before all the Chinese and Russian boat tours show up...

Small but relax island shame that beaches are rocky.
trips, food and drinks are quite expensive compare to Koh Lanta.
However we have found delicious place to eat called Roti chao koh which is near 7-11 nice food and very reasonable price only thing is you need a car to get there which taxi could cost 100 per person per trip, but we hire a car for 600 per day to get around the island

Lovely small island on the east side of Koh Yao Noi. When you go there make sure to bring proper shoes as the walk up to the viewpoint is quite steep, but worth the sweat. The views are stunning.

How's the climb up to the viewpoint on Koh Nok? Is it as bad as the Railay Viewpoint climb?

How is the road at ko ya noi for going around the island?
Written 16 January 2019
There is a narrow paved road that goes around the island. Very convenient for bike or scooter. There are several dirt roads if you want to wander off, but we did not try since we did not want to meet too many mosquitos. The island is small, it does not take long to circle around it by scooter .
