Not as many exhibits as I'd expected. Many seemed to be of african origin. I guess Id expected more relating to New Zealnd.The actual building itself is interesting in its 1909 architecture which was great for a family photo op.More

if you're driving through Gore, stop! It has an amazing Art Gallery and Museum. I was so impressed with the professional presentation of Dr. John Money's collection. It also has New Zealander Ralph Hotere's contemporary works. Wonderful.

We stumbled upon this little gallery which wasn't quite so little when you entered the front doors. They had an exhibition of John Money's art which was so well presented. We loved it

The Gallery was very interesting and showed a lot of the history from the area. The exibits were nicely placed with full descriptions of the art work and artifacts.,

This gallery has been the lucky recipient of a wonderful collection of art works from , around the world, most surprising to see in this setting. The building is great, entrance is FREE!, and the collection amazing. Thoroughly recommended - don't go past this.
