Nothing impressive about it, other than the size of the square. While there, visit the cathedral across the street. Good spot to watch people.

I loved the Plaza Artigas. There was plenty of green and a nice fountain. I enjoyed the view of the statues, and there were a lot of benches. It seems to be a popular place to gather for the Saltenos and I certainly understand why!

The plaza is not beautiful but has a craft fair everyday, called feria de artesania. During the week is not so nice but at the weekends is much better. One can buy silver jewelry and leather clothes and other stuff as a bargain. And a...More
