Manta Diving Lanzarote is a scuba diving centre located in the old town, only 100m from the access point to the best diving on Lanzarote! (holds full authorisation from PESCA) It is an English-owned centre, with an international dive team of friendly, fun, safe and professional instructors, who are on hand and ready to cater to your needs. We have daily boat dives from our custom-built trimaran hard boat and shore dives from Playa Chica, both just 2 minutes walk from our dive centre. For beginners we have the perfect location for try dives, we also run diving courses from SSI Scuba Diver all the way up to Divemaster, we have a fantastic range of dive sites for all qualified divers.

I have been wanting to do my Open Water PADI certification for a while and so happy I got to do it with Manta Diving!
The whole team is so much fun, I had Paige as my instructor and she is so knowledgable and helpful. I feel super confident after training with her and had a great free dive with Rachel.
They offer a lot for the price of the certification (I recommend doing the e-learning before you come to maximise your time on holiday).
Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to coming back for more advanced dives with the team in the future!

Warm showers may appear to be a strange title, but after getting out of that wet suit a warm shower is wonderful. Just done 5 days diving with Manta Diving owner by the friendly Rachel and Ben with their team of very professional instructors. Every thing was organised to a high standard, from the initial communication, to the dive briefings and guided dives. Nitrox was available complimentary, so no excuse not to get your nitrox qualification with them.
Whilst I had my own equipment their equipment was in very good condition. The dive sites are just a short walk from the dive shop and for those whose partners/families do not dive you can get in a couple of dives and be back with your families by lunch time, enjoying the best of both worlds.
As a dive instructor myself I would thoroughly recommend Manta Diving to anyone.

A very last min booking to Lanzarote over half term.
while out walking we came across all the divers kitting up and getting ready to go shore diving. With our trip being very last min we hadn't packed any off our own dive gear as we didn't think wed be going diving while away.
Once back at our apartment and logged in I soon came across Manta Diving Lanzarote, Racheal the owner replied to my query within 2 hours and sent me a list of prices and options to go diving. She then sent me a form for both my husband and myself to fill in and booked us to join them for 2 shore dive including full kit hire.
From the minute we walked into the centre we felt at home and looked after, The staff are super friendly and very professional, fab dive equipment that fit. 1st dive we had Racheal as our guide and the 2nd we had Ben,
If we get back out to Lanzarote over xmas we will defo be heading back to Manta Diving.

I hadn’t been diving for the last 20 years and Ariel took me through the SSI Scuba Skills Update course. There were many things that I had forgotten so this was essential for me. He was a great teacher and showed me all the basics again.
I then went on and did a few dives with Ben and Mark. They were great explaining the dives beforehand and where we were going and what to look out for during the dive.
There was a great camaraderie with everyone there and they included us with everything, making us feel like one of the family. Nothing was too much for them.
Overall I would highly recommend diving with these guys. I had a great time.

Despite it being very busy, the organisation was excellent and I went on two dive's with Ben, who gave very clear and informative briefings and led the group on fun dives in Playa Chica and to the Museo Atlantico. Top customer service, communication and great dives.
Manta Diving also sent a link after the dives with photos of the Museum dive which is a nice bonus since my camera broke on the first dive!

Ben, Rachel and team run a really professional and super friendly operation. My two daughters (11 & 14) started on their Scuba Diver training with Ariel and Maria, and we decided they were doing so well to progress them straight away to full Junior Open Water Diver. My wife had not dived for a long time so she opted for a Reactivate refresher, and they allowed her to join all the training dives both confined and open water - basically a full OW requalification, but at a very reasonable discounted agreed rate. I did some great relaxing dives with them (lanzarote is not the Maldives but there is still some good stuff to see) and we all then went on family dives to the Museum Atlantico once the girls qualified. I cannot recommend the team at Manta highly enough. The dive shop is two minutes walk to the quay for all shore and quay entry dives.

Before visiting Lanzarote I knew I was going to complete my Open Water, searching through endless reviews from multiple companies I came across Manta Diving Lanzarote and I was blown away! Not only for the sheer amount of amazing reviews but also being one of the longest standing, multiple awards and Mantas are my favourite! 😍
I fell very lucky to be 1-2-1 with Rachel in my course! She made my course not only enjoyable and extremely beneficial but also fun and challenging at the same time. She gave me faith in myself and wouldn’t let me give up until I did what I came here to do... Pass my course. I breezed through the course I’m 2 days all thanks to Rach and we got out to complete some awesome dives! I came away with some brilliant photos too from my silver package thanks to Rachel’s amazing photography skills!
I can not recommend Manta Diving and Rachel enough along with all the staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I was lucky enough to join Ariel at Museo Atlantico as my first certified dive... Highly Recommended again it’s amazing!
I was so impressed and so pleased with Manta Diving and myself that I’ve already booked my Advanced Open Water Course for when I return in June and I’ve already decided I would love to do the Wreck Diving and Underwater Photography but I have 6 months to decide the 3rd! I was quite nervous starting in the ocean with all exersizes for my PADI Open Water, but Rachel was the best and made it so easy. I loved the whole experience and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to get any PADI license. P.S. We even saw a shark and cuttlefish!

Excellent well run, well equipped dive centre. Guides were knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
These guys have their own boat so the dive sites available are greater than normal.
Our dives were made up with a good mix of tourist, returning divers & locals.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys & the fact they have a lot of returning divers speaks volumes.

From the minute I walked in staff were very welcoming and friendly with a professional but relaxed atmosphere after the first dive you were treated as one of the family. The diving was really good and done at a relaxed pace. Would definitely recommend this dive centre to anyone looking to go diving in puerto del carmen.

My husband scuba dived in Greece 2 years ago and loved it they are hoping to do it again in july with my aunt who hasn't dived before we are staying in the sol lanazorte is that near you and how much would it be to do 2 dives each

Yes of course we can take your husband diving while you are in Lanzarote! We can pick you up from Sol Lanzarote, its about 10 minutes drive away. The price of 2 dives is 99€ and includes photos. If you send me an email with the dates that you are in Lanzarote we can arrange a dive for you both!

No don't worry, that's not true at all! You can join us for the PADI discover scuba dive and then after that you can do follow up dives. The maximum depth you can go to without a certification is 12 metres.

Hi all! My self and my family (16 of us) will be in lanzarote, playa del carmen from June 29th, 6 of us are all avid snorkelers and we did a 2 hour scuba dive experience 2 weeks ago but only pool based and we would absolutely love to dive open water when we are there. Is this possible without a full PADI? Thanks!

Yes of course! We can take you on the PADI Discover Scuba Dive. This is a 2 hour excursion and includes a 30-35 minute dive in the sea. We do it in Playa Chica where there are lots of fish for you to see! We go down to a maximum depth of 6 metres. If you send me an email with the dates you are in Lanzarote I can arrange a dive for you and your family members.

On the first time dive we go to a maximum depth of 6 metres. We do the dive in Playa Chica bay and you can expect to see cow bream, ornate wrasse, damselfish, parrotfish, flounders maybe even an arrowhead crab too!

Hi Kevin,
On the discover scuba dive we go to a maximum depth of 6 metres. The whole experience takes 2 hours in total. The time under the water is around 30-35 minutes.

Hi,
The best option for your daughter is the PADI Discover Scuba Diving. This session lasts around 2 hours in total and we take her on a dive to 6 metres. Some of the fish she may she include bream, damselfish, parrotfish and flounders. The price is 59€ per person. We recommend pre-booking, so when you have your hotel and flights booked send me an email and we can arrange a dive for her!

Yes your son can try scuba diving. The minimum age to try scuba diving is 8 years old. As he is 13 the best option for him is the PADI Discover Scuba Dive. If you check out our website it gives you all the information about the dive! Any questions just send us an email!
