Of all the dolphin tours I’ve been on this one tops it. Barbara and marco have clearly got a massive respect for the seas and wildlife took a while to find some dolphins ( never guaranteed ) but when we did it was amazing. The boats stopped and the dolphins are given the option to approach. Being so close to the water in the boat gives a unique experience.

We had an amazing trip. The boat ride by itself was already worth the money. But seeing the dolphins and the beautiful sunset was just phenomenal and priceless. If there is one thing you do while on vacation here it should be the dolphin and sunsettour with waveriders.

Wow. What a fantastic trip we had.
Definitely recommend this trip 100%.
Marco and Barbara were so knowledgeable and spent so much time trying to find some dolphins for us, luckily we came across some and it was just magical.
So much fun, the boat is fast and our 2 teenage boys loved it.
They provided a drink for the sunset and got us back to the harbour safely and on time. We felt super spoilt on this trip as it was a smaller boat than the others so we felt more special.
Would definitely recommend this.

We did the sunset dolphin tour. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but of course they can't and don't promise that you'll see them. Even without the dolphins though, the trip was beyond amazing. Marco and Barbara were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time.
I would recommend goggles or sunglasses (with a strap so they don't blow away!) if you have sensitive eyes. The salt water does sometimes splash up when the boat goes fast and this can be rather uncomfortable if your eyes are sensitive. You might look silly in goggles but I would have done this if I'd thought about it.
Thank you to Marco and Barbara for such an amazing experience. We hope to see you again!!

WORST SERVICE EVER!
I rarely leave reviews but I felt I had to do it.
The treatment received by Marco was absolutely disgusting and rude with no reason.
I wrote to Marco a week before to go on the waverider with my boyfriend and he told me to write him two days before the date we wanted to go so that he could confirm the places.
The day before I wrote to him and he told me that he would confirm the places for me at six in the afternoon. To my surprise, he wrote to me later telling me that there was only one free place left on the boat. Logically I told him that we were not going since we wanted to go together, my boyfriend and I.
Marco literally got angry with me for telling him that we weren't going!!! Incredible!! When I had text him a week before to tell him that we would be two.
He told me that work is a serious thing and that we shouldn't even bother going on his ship. This answer was completely out of place. It really denotes seriousness from marco texting me one day before to confirm the places when i wrote him one week before to booked...
The treatment was really rude from Marco. I recommend to avoid this place. There are many other options were you will be treat much better.

Marco was an excellent host, and you could tell by his passion that he wanted us all to have the best possible experience. He searched and searched to find us Dolphins, and we actually came across 3 different groups in the end. The boat ride is just brilliant, and although this tour might be slightly more expensive than others, the RIB boat more than makes up the difference. You are up closer to the sea life and the trill when he pushes the boat to full power is excellent (even if you are not a trill seeker).
He asked on numerous occasions whether everyone was OK and only then proceeded to move on. Soft drinks/beer were offered out on the water.
We would definitely do this trip again.
Thanks again for a memorable trip.

We did the 1.5hour private charter with 3 people. Very professional and answered my messages quickly. We came across a huge pod of spotted dolphins. The dolphins were everywhere you looked, all around the boat, so close you could nearly touch them. A once in a lifetime experience none of us will ever forget, just incredible. I honestly can’t overstate how amazing the experience was.Nothing is guaranteed, obviously, they are wild animals and it’s a big ocean so people giving bad reviews for not being told they might not see anything are out of order. It clearly states nothing is guaranteed and Marco is honest about that from the start. Great value in my opinion for the CHANCE to experience something truly magical. Would go again in a heartbeat.
Thanks for the experience of a lifetime, mind blown🤯

We had an amazing experience- Marco and Barbara were a great crew, and while it wasn’t looking like we were going to see anything after about an hour and a half at sea, at least we were enjoying the RIB and being out on the ocean.
Then we came across a large pod of dolphins - they were leaping high out of the water and really enjoying themselves. Just when we thought the trip couldn’t get any better we spotted a whale close by, blowing through its air hole and swimming alongside . Turns out, according to captain Marco, that it was a Bride’s whale, between 15 and 20 meters long. Incredible!

Wat an amazing experience.
We did the private charter. £180 Euro for 90mins (although was more like 2hrs).
Marco was truly knowledgeable and managed to find a pod of dolphins (approx 50 we could see).
You can get 12 people on the boat (we only had 4).
Highlight of our holiday.

We chartered the boat for me, my husband and 3 grown up sons. We had been on the same boat 7 years previously, done two trips and loved them both. This time it was 90 mins dolphin watching. We sped out to sea which was exhilarating and then the boat slowed down. We searched for ages no dolphins but some sea birds. We were on our way back then lo and behold Barbara spotted loads of common dolphins and even some babies. It was fantastic. The captain was great explaining all safety aspects, was very polite and respectful. Definitely worth the money and we would do it again. Would definitely recommend.

As far as I’m aware it runs from March. It’s well worth the trip. It’s nothing like a banana boat but is very exilhilarting and sometimes you have the added perk of having dolphins swim around the boat in their natural environment- marine safari is beautiful as you get the sunset on the way back into the harbour. 😍

Can you take a camera or phone on board ? What do you wear
Gary C

First things first. Shoes are removed and stored on board. The men on our trip wore longish shorts that doubled as swim shorts, and T-shirts. The women wore T-shirts and skirts over swimwear. The only child with us was chilly and the crew gave her a jacket.
I took a small waterproof camera, which I wore with a wristband during the trip. I think it'd be difficult to hold on to a camera without a strap. The crew will take phones/cameras and stow them safely, and you can get them out if you see dolphins or when you're moored for snorkelling.

Hi, probably a stupid question but would the tour be suitable for somebody who can't swim obviously when the boat stops allowing people to swim she would stay on board but other elements such as doughnuts ect would she be ok.
Just want to know if it would be worth it If she can't swim.
Cheers!

Non-swimmers are fine on Waverider. When we were on it, we moored in (I think) papagaya bay for the snorkelling. We were there for no more than 30 minutes. Non-swimmers can stay aboard and enjoy a drink, and if you've brought a camera, take pictures of the swimmers. The other aspects of the ride, like the donuts and dolphin spotting, take up much more of the time.
Can you take a bag on board? Is there so.e where for belongings if we need to take a drink etc

Is their a size or weight limit for this experience?

Don,t think there's an upper size/weight limit. Two of the guys in our group were 100kg. We also had an 8 year-old girl, who loved it, and Marco and Barbara took really good care of her. So no upper limit as far as I can tell, and children accommodated too.
hi we will be coming to lanzarote on the 4th june, just wondering if you have a website as I cant find one. If not could you please tell me how much it is for an adult and where is it located. thank you!
