We have been coming here for many years to walk, about 3 miles around both reservoirs. Nice flat paths and splendid views over Glasgow. Great sunsets the last couple of weeks. Recommend.

The scenery is lovely and happily, in general, there is very little litter. Pity that the puddles are not filled-in - running or walking in some places is hindered by the vast quantities of water accumulating on the paths.

These Victorian reservoirs on the outskirts of Glasgow has been responsible for providing large parts of Glasgow with Fresh Drinking water for over 100 years. They are an excellent place to go and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and outstanding views of Glasgow.

This place is amazing. We went with 3 under 6 children and two dogs. The children could cycle their bicycles and the dogs enjoyed a long peaceful walk. Would highly recommend

I live locally and have been walking round the reservoir for 14 years, throughout my children's babyhood, childhood, teenage years and early adulthood. You'd think I'd get bored but there is always something different and the sky's are ever changing. Sometimes the evening light illuminates...More
