The temple is great but a visit in November provides great views in a cool breeze! Not too far from Nan really worth the short drive!

This is the other spot to visit, take a pic, and fulfill your emotion with the beautiful scenery and light in the morning and evening. you can see the whole view of Nan and impress with the standing Buudha image which looks forward to the city like protecting the Nan's people.

Nan is not the biggest of places but if you want to look at it from above, this is certainly the place. From my perspective Nan lies in a basin surrounded by mountains and this nice temple is on a pimple within the basin and that is meant with respect. When I visited it offered a very nice 180 degree... More

The temple is strategically located on top of the hill which gives visitors a stunning view of the entire city of Nan. Highly recommended as there are many photo opportunities. Normally this place is crowded in the evening.

This temple is in the mountain. You can see the whole Nan city from Wat Kao Noi. It is not too far away from dowtown. I recommend you to drive a car or a motor bike to go because on your way temple will be mountain all the time. But it's great to be there! have fun! xx

Nothing special about the temple, the attraction for me was the view, the temple is on a hill overlooking Nan, I also enjoyed climbing the 300 steps to the top. The trip advisor map is good.
