I was able to see the outside and it was gorgeous. I got there at 6pm Sunday but unfortunately it was close. There's a chapel on the side where I was able to say my thanks to God. Definitely a must see.

This one is special because it is the biggest cathedral in Thailand in a mostly Buddhist country. And another aspect is the rather shiny statue of Maria, bedazzled with countless gems.

The church is an architectural wonder and the grandeur of its construction and interior mesmerizes any visitor. Given the increasing number of tourists swarming the place, i hope the church management ensures that peace and quietness and respect is absolutely maintained. An absolute must; kids playing football, a nice little market and set on the river, this is truly a representation of the culture of this city. Very nice for sunset also.

Beautiful. As if it were in Europe. The last place I'd expect to find a such a work of art. It was only unfortunate that we did not get to go inside as it was after 5pm.

This is one of the main attraction in Chanthaburi not to be missed during your visit. It is located in the heart of the city near to some canals. Very historic place.

Set in a large plaza, this, the largest Catholic building in Thailand, its spires rising above the skyline, stands quite impressive. If you enoy a quiet place, beautiful and good for contemplation, you'll like it. Make sure you get a photo from the front with...More

It’s a pretty nice cathedral, worth a few minutes of your time. You need to dress appropriate (sarongs can be borrowed at the side entrance for free).
