namtok Pliu national park is a nice place to go with family and friends. It has parking spots, roads are nice. Lots of Thais go there for picnicking, especially during days off and national festivals, so make sure if you don't want to be surrounded by picnicking people, choose your time wisely. It's also advisable to visit a waterfall during... More

Named after the native plant Phlio or Erycibe citriniflora, this waterfall is one of the famous spot in Chanthaburi. Aside from the waterfall itself, this place has many sight spots like Alongkon pagoda, which was built in the era of king Rama V since this place is one of His Majesty''s favorite place. Near the pagoda is pyramid-shape monument for... More

I wouldn't say this is the most amazing nature spot, but coming from Bangkok for a weekend get away, this place is both refreshing and accessible. We did the small trail which is kind of easy exercise, love it.

Having visited plenty of national parks in Thailand Namtok Phlio was a very positive surprise. Very clean and quiet. It's a nice walk to the overgrown greenish stupa with the waterfall in the back. Take your time to watch all the fishes and the extremely clean fresh water. No noice, no motor cycles, no sound machines, great walking ways, what... More

Went here with my son and his wife to show them an easily accessible attraction near the city. Return taxi was 500bht from town and park entrance fees for tourists 200bht per person. There are many pools before the main one so after going to the top of track and taking the obligatory photos, we escaped the crowd to go... More

This is truely a must do. It's beautiful and you swim below the waterfall. Several levels to walk up. There is also camping and cabins to rent.

better to go there in the rainy season, i went there on August in the long weekend, crowded with locals, but we chose to follow the nature trail and it was amazing. It took around 1.5 hours to finish the trail. They have dual entrance fee, THB 40 for Thai people and THB 200 for foreigners.
