Well established Thai Chinese community with well preserved buildings and few colorful Chinese temples. Many street food is sold here (mainly sweets and simple dishes like noodles, chic coffee shops mix well too). Definitely, must see place for both, food and historical importance.

Chantaburi ancient river commune is nice walk along from King Tak monument. It take 1 hour / 1.5 KM by walk. Many traditional sweets and noodles are along streets like old town. Picture and antique hotels, home stay and shops are right there.^_^

Walking along the community with slow speed, looking around to find something to eat and drink make you feel relaxing. If you can spend time for what interested you, just do it. The other end route is the cathedral you should not miss.

The waterfront street is a nice mix of the traditional thai food stalls and shops, and trendy coffee shops and restaurants. The community was located in the beginning and showed really nice pictures from around town. The garden was nice, but starting to degrade.
