I booked banana ride for myself and my teenager son online through their website. We got clear instructions in email and surprisingly were given a choice where to start the ride from Fanabe, Puerto colon, Troviscas etc. The staff was very responsive both on email as well as WhatsApp - they responded to all the queries quickly. I am a non swimmer and I was very apprehensive but the staff assured me it will be okay as they have life jackets.
I initially selected Fanabe but then later requested to be switched to Puerto colon just the morning of the ride and the staff kindly accepted.
We were asked to arrive 1/2 hour earl at 13:00. Rude time was 13:30.We were given curtained space to change and lockers to keep it belongings (phone, shoes etc) and the team kept the keys safe for us too.(Phones in water proof cases are also not allowed which is understandable given the nature of the ride). Note that they do not have free toilets on site at Puerto colon but just adjacent to shop there are harbour toilets (not very clean) which you could use for 50 cents.
After changing, we waited for a while and then we were fitted with life jackets and soft helmets each. Then waited for a few minutes and a speed boat carried us from the harbour to Troviscas beach where we picked 4 more passengers. Then we were taken to banana boat and we jumped on it as per the instructions. We were asked to hold on tight and then the fun began. The sea was choppy and the ride was made additionally exhilarating by the twists and turns. You really have to hold on tight otherwise you keep on losing balance and rocking about (and that might not be fun for all) . The person driving the speed boat attached to the the banana boat kept on checking and stopping in case someone was struggling-giving them time to adjust and sit properly again.I felt for non swimmers and first timers 10 minutes is optimum time. Then we were shifted back to the speed boat and taken to the harbour. The experience finished at around 13:45.
We returned the life jackets and helmets. Got the keys and changed in the changing rooms. All belongings including mobile phone were safe. Overall a good experience.

We decided as a belated anniversary treat to book a 3 hour private Charter with Watersports Tenerife and we are so glad that we did. We had the most amazing afternoon with our captain Leticia, she was so knowledgeable and good fun and really helped make our trip.
In passing we saw pilot whales, we went snorkelling and were taken along the coast line to see more wildlife.
We were served lunch which was very tasty and there were plenty of drinks on board.
If you fancy something a little different, I high recommend chartering the Opera 33 sail boat.

My boyfriend and I did a package deal of a double jet ski and parasending for €140 and it was incredible! It’s the first time either of us have done anything like this and it was a thrilling experience! The jet skis were very fast and safe and the leader (Diego) was very good and made sure we stayed separated from the other riders to avoid collision. The parasending was also extremely thrilling and was so high up and such a great experience and a chance to see Tenerife from a higher view!

I have jet ski’d multiple times over the years in various countries and always enjoyed it. I had a terrible experience at Water Sport Tenerife. We booked a few days in advance, on the day we were due to jet ski it was extremely windy and wavey. I’m surprised they let anyone out in such high waves.. I’ve learnt for next time. Could not see the buoys around the circuit as the waves were so high- very dangerous and there was no staff member in the middle of the circuit to assist. I turned my jet ski off at various points as the waves were throwing me around and I wanted to get off but had to stay on due to no staff. In addition we were about 30 minutes delayed leaving on the boat for jet ski’s and the guy driving the speedboat would not come any closer to the shore for us to get on. Both of us struggled to get onto the boat and it seemed quite dangerous- the boat moving around in the waves and kids ahead of us were struggling also. The staff member finally helped me up but left my partner there to struggle for 5 full minutes trying to get on the boat. Not a nice experience at all. 50 euro for 20 minutes of stress.

Never been parasailing before but we loved it. Went up as a 3 together. Fast rib then fast boat. Other families and pairs were with us. Each got 10 minutes in the air. The boat guys are experienced and very confident in what they do. Just a great trip. Nothing to fear! Loved the sea dunking at the end of our parasail. Keep up the good work folks!!

The most unprofessional and dangerous grop of idiots. Constantly yelling hurry up. We had to change boats 4 times before we got on the boat who took us parasending. And every time they were yelling hurry up and pushed us. I hurt my ankel pretty bad when I was pushed. The staff on the boat smoked while we were there and I did not feel safe since the equipment was old and the rope looked unsafe. They were wery unprofessional in every way.

We pre-booked this excursion in England but we could have booked on the day. Easy to find at Puerto Colon harbour great professional staff they have lockers for your stuff, you can use there wet suits at no extra charge. A small boat takes you out to the jet skies then you go up and down the coast, afterwards another boat takes you to the paragliding boat don't forget to hold on tight beautiful views even if you hate heights.

We offer 10 % discount for all customers who book online and it might be more comfortable for you to come down on the day with the time booked as you don´t need to wait for your activitites to start for hours or to be offered to come on the following day (in case everything its fully booked).
We always requiere the customers to be twenty minutes earlier in order to leave the stuff in the lockers and get change if needed in our chanching rooms offering wetsuits in winter time.
As we start from the harbour due to safety reasons its very important for us to use those small boat which takes you to the jet ski for the safe experience. Parascending is very relaxing and recommend to everyone even if you don´t like heights and we ´re glad that you could enjoy this experience with us. We would be very happy to see back to Tenerife soon !!!

The pilot (of the small semi-rigid boat with the yellow stern) goes much too fast in the swimming area.
He deliberately approaches the swimmers like a madman to frighten them, shouting even though the swimmers are well within their swimming zone.
This is very dangerous behaviour and it's a miracle that no accident occurred.
For everyone's safety, this pilot's licence should be withdrawn.

Hello 4 weeks ago I booked 2 exursions to the Teide and the dolphins. When I had to pay, I debited the amount, but according to the saleswoman the pin machine did not work and I paid in cash again. It turned out that the amount was written off when I got home. after several phone calls I don't get the overpaid amount back. Pay attention and do not book an excursion here

Dear Tegelen,
First of all, we would like to point out that we are " Watersports company " based in Puerto Colón harbour offering jet ski, parascending, flyboard, etc. but we do not provide any coach tours to visit Teide.
As you might notice, there´s a plenty of excursion shops at the island offering whatever trips and entertainment s and of course, some of them have our publicity as poster´s and sign to attract potential customers to book watersports activities but it doesn´t mean it´s us who sold you the Teide tour because as mentioned earlier, we only provide water activities.
As advise to your issue, we would reccomend you to dispute the payment and requiere the refund by your bank if you´re unable to fix this by the excursion shop but we are 100% sure that on your credit card receipt don´t state " Watersports " as again, only confirm that you didn´t book with us.
We would really appreciate that you kindly remove this post from our page and add it to the excursion shop you booked with your Teide tour. Thank you.

We had a good time in Water Sports Tenerife. We took a package including parascending, fly fish and jet ski. The activities were well organized but still we got that kind of feeling that they wanted to get rid of us quickly. We still had fun though and the activities are well priced.

They take them when you are out on jet bike, boat or other. You go back once finished to were you handed your ticket, give the guy your e mail address and €20 and they get sent to you in about a day or two. Fantastic picks I got loads of action shots.

Twenty minutes jet ski is around 4 boyas on the sea (driving in circles) or jet ski safari (guided tour along the coast) which lasts 40 minutes, one hour, two hours ...

Hi I am due to fly out in a weeks time are there any age restrictions on the jet ski as my 5 year old has expressed an interest and has already done the parascending with yourselves when he was just two, would he be ok to go on a jet ski with myself?

Unfortunately the minimum age to go as a passenger on a jetski is 6 years. He will have to wait one more year before he could enjoy this experience.

You can store personal belongings in any of our kiosks on the beach. Moreover, in our starting point in Puerto Colón we have individual lockers for you to use. Nevertheless, we recommend all our clients to take just the necessary items with them before they do any of our activities.
