Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The small but nice Marina at Puerto Colon offers a diverse selection of water activities, such as Jet Ski hire, inflatable motor boat hire and various boat trips plus para gliding. It is also nice just to wander around or walk on the harbour wall and admire all the private boats moored here. Torviscas beach is adjacent with the usual array of bars and restaurants, well worth coming for a good look round if you are anywhere near.

We enjoyed browsing the shops-relaxing & having lunch whilst sitting in the sun-having a cold lager shandy & watching the world go by. Just one thing spoiled it-the guys selling sun glasses-handbags-towels-watches etc coming up to you all the time to buy their goods-but it’s the same everywhere along the sea front. Most of them are nice & take no for an answer-just the odd ones are pushy/annoying.

Recently visited Costa Adeje after travelling down from La Orotava. Lovely little port and town, a very typical tourist destination and great for water sports. Found a lovely little spot on the beach with shops behind that were easily accessible if you became thirsty or hungry. Entered a shop to buy a couple of nets for the kids and was almost jumped upon by 4 shop assistants attempting to sell me a galaxy s4 and an IPad for less than half the price!! A brand new in the box Galaxy s4 €39 and an IPad Air €120 with 'Argos' guarantee's....yes my thoughts exactly! was this too good to be true??? I brought 2 items, I was told exactly what I wanted to hear and walked away with a bargain!! That's what I thought.... From the moment I left the shop both pads failed to work and would only connect to a Japanese/Chinese or American connection. Now I'm no Steve Jobs but the basics I can do!! I took the tablets straight back to the shop and requested my money back, to which I was refused!!! Eventually police were threatened and the owner s*** himself (even though he claimed he wasn't scared of the police and knew them all) almost immediately gave us our money back!! I was told by numerous 'locals' later that all tablets were copies and not to be brought. Once factory settings were reset all tablets went back to its original settings of Japanese or Chinese and could not be changed. Please stay clear of the shop called 'THE PORT CORNER' they sell fake goods....as well as tobacco and cigarettes. These people come across as very helpful and knowledgeable but don't be fooled!!!!!

Lovely natural harbour and surrounding beach, couple of great places to eat,the Bahia steakhouse for one,and great little Italy within walking distance, and if your of a mind to wrinkle your credit card there is always Gordon Ramsey restaurant in fanabe,if your looking for something fun give ANGELO a shout on the peir to the right of the harbour he is directly facing the car hire shop,or get a see Anna in Atlantic cruises and get her to hook you up with a boat trip with a difference, hey better not forget joe n mags at fosters bar under the staircase the best home cooking n fantastic breakfasts with real Irish tea(Lyons)..oh word of warning folks if you do nothing else while your in Tenerife, either in San eugino itself or Puerto colon stay out and away from the Asian shops, they will rip the piss clean out of your wallet n sell you total crap in designer names from Panasonic LUMIX camera to ps4/5 etc please just some advise from a resident

Nice location - walk from costa adege on the walkway to puerto colon overlooking the beach and marina. Plenty of watersports going on .Lovely to sit and relax at one of the nice restaurants and watch the world go bye. Down by the marina boat trips to see the dolphins and whales. Worth a visit in the evening live entertainment in some of the bars.

lovely marina and beach , plenty of shops and restaurants.
it has a nice sandy beach and shallow water so save for the kids to have a paddle.
nice walk towards la Caleta , pass another beach to find a pumice stone weathered cove for a nice photo opportunity , easy walk from playa de las Americas to get to Puerto colon plenty of opportunity to stop of for a cold one.
a taxi from playa de las Americas sets you back about 5 euro , the taxi stand in Puerto colon is on the top level of the marina at the entrance to the car park...enjoy

Surprisingly this marina is a car park where you can park by the yachts! We were taking a dolphin/whale watching trip on yacht Arriro and this made the trip very convenient. However this is also a good place to park if visiting Playa de La Pinta.

We booked this accommodation on the strength of its location , as it is part of the Puerto Colón marina complex , we booked a first floor studio (350 euros for a week) which was decent but slightly dated , the maid service was good , it had a pool and jacuzzi , all in all this offers excellent value for money in a great location , we have already booked again for January
