Little Venice is one of the most well-known photographed places of Mykonos town. It is best to visit though early morning like 9-10 am, wander around the white washed streets of Mykonos and have breakfast from the local bakeries. It is also recommended to visit early afternoon e.g. 5-7pm for enjoying a sunset while drinking your cocktails. Try to stroll... More

A gorgeus view on the sea, right at your feet. The bar is nice, cocktails are good, snack as well. If you can, avoid July and August, it is overly crowded.

Little Venice. Homes built above the water on way from oldest church to wind mills. Best viewed in the afternoon when the sun is on them.

In November all the restaurants and cafes were closed, but it is incredibly picturesque and the views of the sunset are magic.

Place of restaurants, clubs, shops. I ate at three of the restaurants for evening meals. The cruise ships reclaim their crowds and the town is lovely. You have dinner on the edge of the harbor while your restaurant staff are fishing.

Nice restaurants to visit for lunch and dinner but a lot more expensive. Watch out for the pelican who is a great sight and walks through the restaurants, certainly did when we passed one afternoon.

For sure, you won't be alone there, as all tourist buses make a stop at this location. It's nevertheless worth to see it...and if you're lucky, as we were, you might cross a pelican, nonchalantly walking on the very narrow path along the seeside !

It is reasonably attractive to wander around the little alleyways but to be honest, and I'll give this disclaimer - I did not like or enjoy Mykonos compared to the other islands we visited (Naxos, Santorini and Crete). It is NOT Venice in any way shape or form, not even close. The nicest view of this is looking down on... More
