We were in Mykonos for four days and were very disappointed as my husband loves maritime museums and this was never open the entire time we were there.

One of the reasons I was looking forward to coming to Mykonos was to look inside this small museum. Lonely Planet says it closes at 1pm in October, as does the sign on the door. It was already shut at 12.30. Maybe they wanted an...More

This museum is full of models and maritime items, however I didn't feel as though the exhibits flowed or told the history well and there was nothing on the Russian naval occupation of the Cyclades that I could see. We went into the garden at...More

Opened 15 minutes late, not a word of apology. Small museum, mostly model ships. A few ancient artifacts. Spent 30 minutes and saw everything there. You can decide if 30 minutes is worth the admission fee.

Loved the museum and the shop models. Beautiful china displayed from the captain's home. Staff was very courteous and made our visit very enjoyable. Not very accessible for those with mobility issues.

Nice place to spend a cultural half hour away from the shopping streets of town. Admission costs 4 euro or 2 euro for students.

We enjoyed seeing the evolution of the ships that sailed the seas in this area. Also some cool artifacts. Worth a quick visit, takes less than an hour to see everything.

Great history and incredible models and well worth a visit, bit hard to find, we walked up and down the narrow walkways looking for the place some signs would help.
