We saw the windmills from a distance while stopping at Mykonos for the day during our cruise. We didn't really have the time to go over to them. We were told by others on our boat that they were nothing special, just pretty to look at.

The windmills are interesting to look at for a moment, but it would be more interesting to me to know something about their history. Still, it was a good photo opportunity. I would recommend visitors endeavor to find out something interesting about them - they are not much to look at most days; it would appear that the breathtaking photos... More

Not far from harbor.....just follow the crowds to the right past the small chapel ,along the "sea wall", past ""little Venice", past quite a few restaurants (on left...water on right) then look straight ahead and there you are!! OR ask for directions. You can also wind around inside the town until you arrive at the Bus Station...the wind mills are... More

We visited Mykonos shortly as a part of a trip from Naxos to Delos. There are windmills to the right of the harbour, a nice place to visit, but nothing very special as such are seen all around the Greek Islands. It was nice to come back to Naxos after this visit, as it has a more genuine alive feel.

We rented ATV's and drove up to the windmills. It was a beautiful scene in Mykonos. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

This is a beautiful place to take pictures and enjoy the sunset. It gets very crowded so be patient if you want to get a good picture, and be patient with the wind also, is very strong.

Walked off the cruise ship and wondered around the narrow alley of Mikonos town. As you walked south along the sea front and then up a hill you come to see these set of 4 windmills which felt out of place on the back drop of Greecian architecture of small stone and whitewash building that dotted the landscape. It was... More

The windmills are a sight to see in Mykonos. Though most are privately owned, one is a business which you can go into. The best view is from the shore.
