Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely Idiotic!
I'm sure that Seabus is pretty reliable, but they failed today.
Coming off the dock, a line was placed in water and wrapped around the propeller, causing us to drift for an hour. The crew insisted on having a diver clear the line, rather than call the port authority or another boat to tie alongside, perhaps to not have to incur liability.
As most of the passengers were off a cruise, the opportunity to go to the beach for the day is gone. The crew pretty much shrugged their shoulders, knowing that everyone is transient anyway.
This is a multi million euro operation. Clearing lines is the most basic concept in boating.
Way to ruin a day in Mykonos.

We took the SeaBus from our Holland America ship (the Eurodam) from the new port where we were docked to downtown and back. Our trip was prepaid because we were on a HAL tour. Unfortunately, the boats were overcrowded and there were fairly long lineups. I don't think that they really had the capacity to deal with the added volume from the cruise ship.

No complaints about return transfer between New and Old ports on 21.07.2023.. It was all good. But beware when you buy the tickets. I paid 20 Euro note for two return tickets costing 2 Euro each. Instead of returning 12 Euros the guy at the counter gave me only 2 Euro back saying I gave 10 Euro. He wouldn´t believe me. Finally I gave up and said he can keep the money. I complained later again to the company but to no avail. If I paid a lot of money for the cruise why should I lie about 10 Euros. Therefore while buying tickets please give exact change. They are cheaters.

The sea bus is a convenient way to get from new harbor to old harbor downtown. We booked a two way ticket (big mistake) and paid 8 euros for two people. When we tried to go back to new harbor with the issued tickets, the same Sea Hustler insisted the ticket was only one way. He worked this scam with all the non-Greeks on the boat. I pushed back but he pretended to speak no English. Eventually we paid the extra 4 euros, but will know better to only pay for one way on the SLEAze Bus. All our other interactions with Greeks in the Cyclades were great, but this one left a bad taste in our mouths. Buyer beware!!

When we bought the tickets they told us it would be 20 min to get from old port to new port where we needed to catch our ferry. It took over an hour and when they arrived they were in a hurry screaming and cussing people out so they would go faster so they could leave. Overall terrible experience and rude staff

No issues at all €2 oneway.
Don’t purchase a return, just buy the return ticket when you arrive in the old port.
Use change not €100 bills.
Be prepared to shove a little. It can be cramped.
We chose to ride on the top. No issues found seats. Some people had to stand.
Great value.
Was interested to note that the emergency life rafts were secured down with plastic banding and the pull cords secured with cable ties.
Can’t see that flying in the States.
If the boat sinks, you’d better be able to swim. Maybe the expansion of the rafts in an emergency would break the bands.
Would sure hope so. Lol

Great little service to get around Mykonos while enjoying some fantastic views of the clear blue Green sea.
At €2pp one way, this is definitely the most economic way to get from the New Port where the cruise ships doc to the old town. Running every 15 minutes and only takes about 20 mins to cross the bay.
It is also a hop on / off service which each person receiving 3 tickets in each direction so you can get off at any of the 4 stops and then get back on across the bay.

Was worried after reading reviews but no issues either way. Was given two sets of tickets, one for the trip to town and one for the return trip. Because of the volume from the cruise they were running multiple boats to Mykonos town to include a much larger boat that normally runs to Delos. Easy trip both ways

Too many people. The villa itself is beautiful and very clean. Streets of white, blue and red. Lots of flowers in every corner. You should avoid peak hours to get a better experience. It is also true that up to seven cruise ships came together on the same day.

How to get from cruise terminal into Mykonos town.
Written 25 January 2023
Where do i get the bus to go to the cruise terminal in Mykonos Town?
Written 11 January 2020
If your leaving from cruise you walk right off ship and you will see the sea bus sign. If your leaving from Mykonos you go to pier and follow the signs or the old fashioned way ask.

My clients will be in Mykonos on Nov. 18, 2019. Will the SeaBus likely still be operating?
Written 3 October 2019
I am not a 100% sure. However, that being said, I don't see why not. It should still be on.
Hope this helped.
