La Ermita is a nice diversion after a day exploring the historic center of Matanzas. You can see nice views from the viewpoint over the city and the surrounding ocean and hills. Also, beautiful little cathedral with fun belltower! Just beware of the tout guys...More

If you need great pictures...this is the place! The place is very quiet and the breeze is just lovely. Not so big and not much to see inside the ermita but if you manage to get to the bell tower you will love the views...More

Situated on a hill just out of town is a small lovely church with amazing views over the valley and the bay and Port of Mantanza.

In itself it is a nice place to get a very good view of the surrounding area but go into the church, climb a few stairs, ring the bell, and you have a grander view. By the way at the top of church nice breeze...More

This pllace sits up like on a mountain, beatiful breathtaking view. There is a snack bar and tables to eat, The chuch its incredibly beautiful. A must visit.

We didn't eat at this place, but there is a beautiful panoramic view of the valley that is worth experiencing, as well as a pretty church to visit.
